December always seems to be a time of reflection for me. As a New year approaches and the past comes to a close I find myself going over the past year and setting goals for the upcoming fresh start. This layout was done for an article on CK magazine. Although I finished the layout it did not have the right feeling for the magazine so I did a new layout. But I kept this one. I have decided to share it today to hopefully motivate someone to set a goal and keep it. Lots of Ditto goodies used on this... Continue reading

So I am admitting this out loud. At our house the tree goes up on November 1st...but just lights. We decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving. And the presents go under the tree on Dec 1st. Can you tell how long I LOVE to drag out Christmas? So with that many days to look at presents I really love to have them wrapped up cute, and a tag is the perfect way to finish off a gift. I used these tags. And then stamps ind inkers. How about a holiday layout? Just a simple one. Add one of the tags that... Continue reading

The first gift item is a notepad. But not just any notepad...this one is 8x9. A nice large size. Very simple I first added a 4x6 photo on the right side. I stamped using inkers onto a tag and adhered overlapping the photo along the bottom. And then punched butterflies out of this card...and very simply I have a personalized notepad gift ready to go. OK how about a simple journal to go with your notepad? Today's post is all about making very fast and easy gifts. Next week's will be a little more involved. For this gift, start with... Why not start a gratitude journal? You can start it anytime just write something you are grateful for every day inside it. When you are having a bad day all you have to do is open your journal to be instantly reminded how blessed you are. It really does help. And when you are into it about 30 days it gets hard to just have things instantly pop into your head and you have to really start thinking and looking for the things you are grateful for, that is when it REALLY starts changing your perspective and how you look... Happy Wednesday!! If you haven't noticed, I have been throughly enjoying my embossing powders lately. :) I haven't done the cracked glass technique in forever and it used to be my favorite. I used the darling set, Blossom Sentiments. It's a simple card, but I really wanted to focus on the main image. For the cracked glass main image. I stamped and colored the flower. I then embossed it several times with an Ultra thick embossing powder. You put it in the freezer for a bit... then bend the image and it cracks. I love it and think it looks... Continue reading

Happy Wednesday!! I was really in the mood to use more embossing powder! I thought this gorgeous Fourish and Bloom set would be just perfect for embossing! I embossed a flourish in black onto white paper for the main piece. When I was done, I sponged it with a little brown in. The main page is stamped in brown with a smaller flourish. The bottom right image was stamped in black so it would stand out a little better! I hope you enjoyed! Have a great day! ~ Lindsey Continue reading

Here is the first shot. And here is the inside. I used 5x7 pocket a solid blue tag stamps and inkers... Continue reading

Scallop Straight Envelopes Envelopes and Pockets Tags and Tags Felt with Buttons Mix and Match stamps and inkers For the covers of the albums I used 8x8 clear covers. Start by lining up all of your products how you would like it inside the album and then punch your holes. Make sure everything is not lined up perfectly, you want to be able to see lots of layers. So with Monday as a holiday and the kids being off today from school the follow up post got away from me. It happens, right? And on top of that I gave my cute wedding couple the album BEFORE I photographed it, trust me it has just been one of those weeks. But never fear I made up a quick new one for my dear friend. I left it a bit plain as I know she will want to add her own flair. So I will show you how to make the base of the album. Here is the album...... Continue reading
