Oh my gosh, Amanda! Eddie is adorable! He's getting so big too! Anyways...on to the whole cake pop thing. I've not ever made cake pops. But I HAVE made cake balls. And they were delicious!

Amanda, I'm so glad to hear that things are getting better for you and Eddie. What a relief! My oldest started out sleeping on her back, but I discovered during naptime that if I put her on her belly, she went from 1/2 hour naps to a long 3-4 hour nap in the afternoon. I slept the rest of my babies on their belly from infancy on. Logically, I can't see much reason why it would make a difference, as long as there aren't stuffies etc in the crib.

Amanda! I never knew you had dogs! How cute! I love the one of Dodger sticking out his tongue. Our "Boxador" (mom is a boxer dad is a lab) smiles for treats...lol. So sweet...I think kids really do need pets. I'm trying to talk my husband into taking in a second dog...a Neapolitan Mastiff...HAH!

Amanda....you know I love you and I love your blog and recipes...but I have a major issue with this particular one... "Leave on counter, uncovered, overnight" Ain't happening...I'm an insomniac enough as it is (pointedly, that's when I do most of my own baking...it's the only time of day that the house is quiet and there are no interruptions)...you put something like that on my counter, overnight...and I'm going to be hopping out of bed, all night long, pulling pieces off of it. I'd be exhausted the next day. And crabby. All because that blasted monkey bread had to sit out on the counter. Can't do it.... ;-)

Hi Amanda! My fav frosting flavor would be strawberry...all the way. Or coconut. Maybe dark chocolate? Ganache? Oh heck...I can't decide. I like 'em all! And you look just fine! Stop being so hard on yourself!

OOOOOH, petroleum jelly! I'll never forget the day my oldest two, then just over 1 and just over 2 at the time, took a jar of vaseline off the table and proceeded to "lube" each other up. *good times* I think your kids look so much like Chad...lol. They're adorable.

Ok....I already know you're having a boy...lol. Read that post first, oops! Anyways...seeing as how we already share a Colton, you might as well add a Mason or a Talon to the mix! Talon's middle name is Samuel (which I loved for a first name, but hated the nickname Sam or Sammy). My bestie just named her little boy Titus. And I have ALWAYS loved the name and the meaning of Tobiah. It means, "God's Goodness." LOVE IT! My husband didn't like the nickname Toby.

Love it, my friend! Sorely tempted...I have two more cakes this season...Jesus' birthday cake (I've decided to NOT do the star inside...lol) and Genesis' My Little Pony cake. I'll let you know if I attempt the ruffles on either one. I'm thinking Jesus' birthday cake, mostly because the MLP cake will have Pony figures on it. I'll tag ya! :-)

LOL, I can't help but laugh, I'm sorry Amanda. My bestie lives 7 hours away in upstate NY (though it may be only two hours if Joe gets this job in western NY!!! [and we're still waiting to hear back from MN...they aren't doing interviews until after Christmas though]). Last time her husband drove them to come visit us here in RI, he drank a few of those Red Bulls and lengthened their trip considerably because of the need to stop and pee often...lol. Those things are bad news for ya! Hope the rest of your trip goes much more smoothly. :-)

:-) My sweet friend, you are an awesome mommy and you will adjust just fine! Don't we all have such concerns when we find out a second, third, fourth child is coming? I look over at my sweet Talon (my youngest) and think of how deeply I love him...how much joy he brings me. But I didn't always feel this way about him. When I found out he was coming (while in a Toys R Us bathroom, which is where I decided to test because I "had to go" and had been feeling nauseous), I looked up towards God and silently screamed (cause...you know...it was a public bathroom), "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!" I didn't think I could do this again. 11 months between my oldest and my second, 16 months from second to third, and 13 months from third to fourth. No way...no way could I put my body through ANOTHER pregnancy so soon. I was certain there was no way I could nurse another baby with three toddlers running around, no way I could go through it all over again. But God was not mistaken. And so, when I walked out of that bathroom and my husband saw my face and jumped for joy (psycho...course...it WOULD be easy for him, he wasn't doing his fourth pregnancy in three years), I knew that it would be scary, and hard...but that it would be ok. And it is scary, and hard...and wonderful. I couldn't imagine life without our sweet Tally-Tal. He totally completes us. And your fourth sweet child will soon be in your arms and you'll wonder how you ever lived without him/her. :-) Blessings, sweet friend! --Crystal

Awesome! I like the color from the first batch. Just a thought...I'm going to be using red candy melts to make red fondant (for Colton's rocket cake)...I'm thinking you could use them to add depth of flavor and color to the second version of fudge you made. It would certainly add that sweetness!
