Dolphins set to acquire Brandon Marshall
The Dolphins are in the process this morning of acquiring wide receiver Brandon Marshall. The Dolphins will trade their second-round pick (43rd overall) this season and another pick for the player who is among the NFL's best but most enigmatic wide receivers. ESPN.com's Adam Shefter is reporting...
Smiley was a great pulling guard and was a good reason the Wildcat worked good for us. Maybe it a sign we are moving away from the WC less

I hope so!
Miami Dolphins trying to trade Justin Smiley
ORLANDO -- The Dolphins are in the process of breaking ties with guard Justin Smiley. Team sources are telling The Miami Herald that Dolphins football czar Bill Parcells called the guard Saturday while he was on a hunting trip in Alabama. Smiley was told not to report to the club's offseason con...
Wow!
I like the idea of a trade to Denver for Marshall.

bobbyd12,
So I'm guessing you don't want him on our team? lol
I think he would be a good fit!
Henne clarifies Tebow comment, talks WRs
It is a beautiful day in South Florida, a perfect golf day, and that's good because about a dozen Dolphins players are participating in the Athletes in Action charity tournament now. Chad Henne is participating because he's a good community guy. He talked to reporters today -- The Herald's Jeff ...
I wonder if the Front Office is waiting for B. Marshall's price to drop as we approach the draft?

jerrypr46..what else do you expect him to say?
Anything he says will be twisted and turned into something it isn't. Also, he has to keep things close to his chest as the draft is right around the corner and he does'nt want to show his hand.
Just stating the obvious.
Ireland defends Wilson, suggests he's staying
Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland just finished speaking with the media and the most interesting thing from the talk, in my opinion, was his whole-hearted defense of Gibril Wilson and suggestion the free safety will remain with the Dolphins in 2010. Ireland was asked if Wilson took too much ...
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.....lol

Ginn is what he is. I liken him to they way I manage my team. If you know his strengths and weaknesses then you cater to those areas and use him accordingly. Thats it, nothing more, nothing less!

I don't think Antonio Bryant would be much help at all Armando. I'd rather see what our current players have to offer or draft a WR.

This is what happens when you use the strategy of "Draft for need"! We should be drafting for best available player.
When you draft for need; you get hung up on one particular player and lose focus on all players and most times you don't get what you hoped for.
Tell me why Rolando McClain is special
I am not a scout and do not pretend to play one on the Internet. I'm not a personnel guy. I don't know squat about grading players or projecting players. My gig is to tell you what the scouts I speak with tell me. But I know a good football player when I see one. And I know a great one when I se...
"They come from adverse situations to make it."
So we need a kid who's parents are crack addicts and he was beaten his whole life and lived in the getto...then we will have a monster LB

Free agency on the way -- one way or another
Well, salary cap or no, there will be some sort of free agency starting on March 5. On Wednesday the NFL released the list of veterans with at least six credited seasons and an expiring contract that would constitute the sadly diminished class of 2010 unrestricted free agents should there be no ...
I agree Indiana, you can't blame Ginn for where he was drafted, just like you can't blame Pat White where he was drafted.
That being said; both of those picks where a reach and could have been better utilized

Cut'em if we go into a capped year as this won't affect us cap wise...from what I'm told.
Miami Dolphins: It's time to cut ties with Joey Porter
This week, the Dolphins will be at the Senior Bowl, looking for new players. Over the next few weeks, they'll be making final decisions about many of their holdovers. One of those holdovers is Joey Porter. And while Porter's fate may be decided partly by the Collective Bargaining negotiations --...
