Saturday morning my grandmother died, and I left New York in a rush back to Texas for the funeral. I didn't have the time to finish editing any of the posts that I had planned for this week so instead I just wanted to take a moment to remember a great lady. My grandmother was a single mother who picked cotton and cleaned houses so that she could take care of her six daughters and ensure that they had a solid future, which they all did.
