Those sunglasses will be mine!

This is one of my favorite interviews on The Swelle Life. I really enjoyed reading it and Eugene's one-man approach and determination inspired me to take my designing more seriously. I have been pretty lost since graduation as far as what I want to do, but reading about Eugene's experience makes me more confident that it is possible to go forth with my label. I especially liked this line: "Fashion does not care how you get there, all it demands is you produce the refined goods worthy of being international status; it cares not for the 'oh-I-just-graduated-and-need-time-to-get-there' excuse." While my situation falls within the latter statement, it really puts things in perspective. Bravo to Eugene and his awe-inspiring work. I can't wait for your Fashion Week photos!!

Everything in this post was making me drool and then I saw that raspberry macaron and I almost died!!! I'm so jealous!! But congrats on your first red velvet... mmm they are so delicious :) We have a cupcake place in town called "Let Them Eat Cake" and they have amazing red velvet cupcakes. They also have carrot cake which is AMAAAAAZING, sooo moist!! My boyfriend hates carrot cake and he admitted it was pretty good.

I would be more forgiving but this is unacceptable to even remotely attach to the name Chanel!! Karl baby I will help you out. You need me.

Yes, DKNY totally stepped it up! Those outfits are so much fun and very wearable. I went to a Catholic high school too and we didn't have any leeway. But of course, I daydreamed and sketched "proposals" on making our uniforms cuter and more stylish! Your daughter will thank you for making her different pinafores!

Just looking at this post again... really stunning and beautiful, but wondering if anyone else has noticed the gross hairy tattoo detail on the model's knees?

The brown sack-like boots with the embellishments and the mustard embellished sweater photo beneath it are my personal faves... but yes, that entire collection is just to die for! I love all the details.

I might die if I don't get one of those ecru shoulder/hand bags! I also love that yellow dress before your favorite bow coat!

I like "Models I Met and Liked"... because people tend to think they are all looks and no brains. I have met some wonderfully intelligent models who were the most fun and easiest to work with because they knew they had to get the shoot done!

I feel unbearably sick. He was one of my major influences in my thesis and who I aspire to be if I choose fashion as my career path.
