I love this! Do you mind sharing the source for that rad rug?
I can't believe I forgot to tell you gals (and guys), but I am a contributor over on Kids Activities Blog! I've been writing twelve (yes 12!) posts a month. I thought I would share some of my favorites with you here once a month. And since it's almost Halloween... Continue reading

I had the pleasure of working with the DIY Network to create tutorials for four awesome handmade Halloween costumes for dogs. My parent's fabulous pugs acted as my muses and models. I love how they turned out, but I've got to say getting these final shots was a serious workout!... Continue reading

Recently we had a chance to review some products from The Honest Company. I asked Jude for his honest opinion, want to know what he (and I) thought? First up, Jude loves to help me clean (I know, I hope he doesn't wise up soon!) so we tried out the... Continue reading

Oh thank you so much for these words. As I can tell from the tears they have prompted I really needed them. I just nursed my baby boy to sleep and tucked in my four year old. My heart aches at how quickly they grow, but you have reminded me there is so much to look forward to! Thank you.

The kids are back in school which means it's time to pack lunch! I've partnered with Got Milk? to bring you this fun, simple DIY reusable sandwich wrap. And when I say simple, I mean it; the most basic version of this wrap only requires a few stitches, you don't... Continue reading

It wasn't my crowning moment as a parent. I was desperately trying to get out of the house with two little ones, a feat I had only accomplished a few times on my own. After all, these things take practice, and patience, and sleep; both of which were in very... Continue reading

I've been meaning to share this awesome and super simple homemade ricotta cheese recipe with you for ages! So when I got the chance to partner with Got Milk? I knew exactly what I wanted to post. Did you know that you could make your own cheese with just three... Continue reading

Danielle, It is quite different, more like a supplement than actual yeast for making bread. If you leave it out you will still get lots of good benefits from the flax, oats, and almonds! Thanks for reading, Carla
A common conversation in our house: "Jude can you back off your brother a little bit?" "No mom, I can't! I just love him so much. He's my favorite person in the whole world!" It's hard to argue with that! I love these two so much it makes my heart... Continue reading

I love seeing photos of your beautiful family! Thanks so much for the tips!
Alright so he might be four months old, but better late than never right? I was determined to get out an announcement for Ronan since I'm trying hard to avoid the whole second-baby-doesn't-get-the-same-hoopla effect! After seeing these two super cute DIY baby announcements (1,2) on Pinterest I knew just what... Continue reading
