I finally broke out the Marbled background stamp from the 2107-18 annual Stampin' Up! catalog. I really liked the possibilities of this stamp but hadn't given it a try till now. To make this I used the Baby Wipes Technique. I layered 3 non-alcohol baby wipes in a Stampin' Up!... Continue reading

I love the fall and part of why I do is because that is when, in this country, we celebrate Thanksgiving. I have so many things to be thankful for. I'm thankful that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, I'm thankful for my husband of 40 years, for our... Continue reading

The September Paper Pumpkin KIt was really full of wonderful supplies. I absolutely LOVED the 3x3 note cards and those delicate foil leaves were marvelous! The added embossing really stepped up the look too! The pillow boxes were nice but I really didn't have a use for them at this... Continue reading

Have you checked out the Be Merry Kit on page 32 of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog yet? If not you're in for a treat. The kit makes 12 ornaments that measure 4" in diameter and they are really cute. I'm thinking I am going to make enough to do... Continue reading

Peg, when doing the thinlits I cut them out of black card stock and then scan the cut out images. When bringing the image into Silhouette use the "open" tab in studio and they will come in actual size of the orriginal. If you try to open the scan file and drag and drop it doesn't maintain the original size for some reason. Hope that makes sense. Let me know how it goes. Kate
I am going to start with a short explanation. I have had a few subscribers leave me and I wanted to explain what you will find on my blog. You will find a little bit of an eclectic collection of projects. I make cards as well as 3D paper crafts,... Continue reading

Thank you Heather!
How many times have you looked at a stamp set and wished there was a die to cut out the image? I know I have. Even when there are dies for other items in the set there always seems to be one that you want to die cut but can't... Continue reading

Peg, Thanks for the comment! On Friday I'll have a post going out that goes into more detail on how to scan something into the Cameo. This time it is scanning a stamped image but the process is basically the same. Once you've seen that get back to me with questions. I will say I have the business edition of the software I'm not sure if there are limitations on using the standard software this way or not. Kate
Painted Harvest stamp set with the Leaf Punch seem to be a popular bundle in the 2017 Holiday Catalog. Combine them with the Painted Autumn designer series paper and you can't lose. Here is a card a cased from someone else. I changed up the colors a bit and added... Continue reading
