Marco Rubio To Sandy Hook Victim's Mother: "There's Nothing We Can Do" Fresh from voting against keeping guns out of the hands of terrorists on behalf on the NRA, Marco Rubio "changed his mind" and decided to run for his Senate seat again, claiming he was "inspired" to do so... Continue reading

Not This Again Floridians don't like Marco Rubio, mostly because the feeling is mutual. Now Rubio, who swore he wouldn't "a thousand times," has decided to run for reelection just two days before the filing deadline, because it's the least he can do for them while still earning a paycheck... Just when his constituents and the rest of the country thought they'd finally rid themselves of Marco Rubio, he's back and potentially threatening to lose a second election in less than a year. (I'm guessing this would break some sort of record.) After Rubio lost the presidential primary, we didn't... Continue reading

Anderson Cooper Schools Bondi On Her Anti-LGBT Law And Its "Sick Irony" Florida's AG Pam Bondi has a well known history here for being first in line to oppose same-sex marriage and fighting to keep same-sex couples from adopting children, but that may not be the case nationally. However, in... Continue reading

Ball And Chain When Marco Rubio exits the Senate, we don't yet know what his next gig will be, but we can be pretty certain it won't be acting. His disappearance from the spotlight after losing badly in the presidential primary was sadly oh so brief, but when he did... Continue reading

(Photo via Troy Kinsey, Facebook) Amid calls for an investigation after she looked the other way instead of investigating Trump University right around the time she allegedly requested, and received a campaign donation from him, Florida AG Pam Bondi will be attending a rally tomorrow, geared to put Donald Trump... Since she took office in 2011, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has turned that job description on its head by all but using her power against the citizens her office is supposed to protect. She's turned what is supposed to be an impartial office into a political one to further... Continue reading

"That's All Folks!" No Really, That's All There Is There are plenty of good reasons why Democrats overwhelmingly want Hillary Clinton as their nominee and President rather than Bernie Sanders, the larger ones being that dreams and fairy dust aren't a substitute for governing. After a year in the race,... Continue reading

Nope. Bernie Sanders is losing, although he refuses to accept that. Instead, he campaigns on, in spite of math and reality, and making the argument that he's the only candidate who can beat Donald Trump based on polls conducted six months before the general election when he's barely been touched... Happy To Be Trump's "Little Marco" Just when you thought you would never have to hear from Marco Rubio again, he returns. And no, he's not making another acceptance speech for losing to Trump (and every other rival for that matter) but rather to make it clear to anyone who... Continue reading

Feel The Bern Or Else Bernie Sanders' downward spiral is getting uglier every day. Aside from pushing to overturn the will of the voters and trying to jump on the Trump train clown show by pushing for a debate with him even though he's losing against Hillary Clinton, his comic... Continue reading

The Dream Team From Hell? Some might say that a Donald Trump-Rick Scott ticket would be a match made in heaven (or hell for anyone who isn't one of the two) given their views on governing like a business that just may happen to help their own bottom lines. Unfortunately... Continue reading

Florida's Own Man-Made Disaster Strikes Again The 30th annual Governor’s Hurricane Conference is currently under way in Orlando but said governor is a no show, because why not? No, Rick Scott is off in Washington making political hay of the Republican's refusal to provide emergency funding for the Zika virus.... Continue reading

The Florida GOP has been on a roll lately when it comes to blocking women from access to health care, but two recent laws are facing new hurdles from the Florida Supreme Court as well as Washington. Last year Republicans passed a law requiring a 24 hour waiting period for... Continue reading

Jerry Brown To Job Thief Rick Scott: Poach This! Florida's "jobs" Governor Rick Scott is back to his old tricks again. Because he can't create jobs as promised six years ago, and every day since, he often resorts to stealing them from other states instead. So now the job-poacher-in-chief will... Continue reading

Invoking Gun Violence "Revolution" Imagery Prior To Connecticut/Sandy Hook Primary? It's hard to remember these days that Bernie Sanders once vowed to run an "issues only" campaign and vowed he had "never run a negative campaign before" and he wasn't going to start now. Taxpayer Funded Travel For Ex-CEO Or Dental Care For Kids, Guess Who Wins? Oh, let's give another hand to Rick Scott, ever watchful and loyal steward of the Florida taxpayer dime! Here he was again, earlier this week, concerned that your money never be used for something frivolous, and thus,... Continue reading

I don't know which candidates you're "advising," but just because the DNC isn't helping your choice of candidate doesn't make their choices wrong. Bernie himself has received plenty of help from the DNC for years and yet he hasn't complained about that, nor has he returned those funds. You claimed earlier he will raise funds IF he's their nominee (he hasn't said that though). By your standards, that would make him a hypocrite, would it not? I won't get into the details here of his "truth to power" claims and his inability to achieve his chosen "goals" through fuzzy math and facts, and without help from Dems he refuses to help elect to support him, but the definition of progress isn't Bernie's "my way or the highway" strategy.

"Prostitutes, Junkies And Winos, Oh My!" Again. The First Lady is... Continue reading

That's just an empty excuse. Still, he hasn't said that at all, but if he had, for someone who claims to be against quid pro quos, saying he'll only raise money for them if they make him their nominee is pretty much the definition of one.
