Ooh, I can't wait to see what develops for you. (At 44) I'm still waiting to see what I'm going to be when I grow up. It's a strange feeling, isn't it? When you have ability and resources to do anything, anything at all, how do you choose?

Cute project, Katrina! I'm doing Project Life again this year and I'm determined to complete my December Daily 2012 mini album.

I've really been enjoying watching your beautiful home take shape. It's stunning - what a team you and Steve make. I can only imagine that anyone who's left a negative comment on your labour of love must be green with envy! (I have to admit to a little jealousy myself seeing you prepping for landscaping - my yard is knee deep in snow.) Best wishes from Nova Scotia!

Oh, I'm in! I made a half-assed attempt at Reverb in 2010 but the timing was off. This year I'm not letting the season sneak up on me. The hard-work is almost done and December is all about relax and enjoy, lots of time for introspection. Your post couldn't have come at a better time.

Hey Lee, I so wish I could document life like you do...you have a real gift! It really was so great to meet you! I've been meaning to drop you a line to find out how the rest of your trip went and how Claire liked Dal. Sounds like you had a fabulous time in Truro. There's nothing like a Nova Scotia kitchen party! I'll email soon. Hi Katrina...it is Sue Williams. We've chatted on PLP (I'm the King's alum) and I gave you the shoutout at Truescrap yesterday...great talk by the way! I'd love to meet you when you come to Halifax.

Great post, Cathy! You and Brene are the secrets to my success with MMEW this year. Brene's little voice saying, "It doesn't have to be perfect." Yours saying, "Get over it, keep moving." 33 lbs and counting....thank you!

I'm all about systems and this is a great one! It will be so much easier for my cluttered brain to process when I can see the ephemera and notes instead of hiding them away in manila envelopes. (And as a former CM hawker myself, I have the clear files in my 'I don't know what the heck to use these for but they could come in handy' box.) Yup, another great idea, Lee!

I am so psyched for this! I started out gung ho with MMEL but lost steam after a few months. I'm going to love the year-long nudges and prompts. Thank you!

I laughed when I read your Taylor Swift hiphop comments. She did a promo for one of the American award shows last year that your girly might get a kick out of. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OD9SYupjygY (If you don't want to use the link you can just google 'taylor swift thug story' or 't swizzle')
We're in our 16th year of marriage and have at times coasted in and out of disconnect - not so much ups and downs as ebbs and flows. I, too, am guilty of high expectations at times and then wonder why I get tuned out. I have to remind myself (far too often) not to take my husband for granted and, a biggie for me, not to use so much energy up being 'Mom' that I have none left to be 'Sue'. Thanks for keeping it real. I don't think any of us truly aspire to lead Stepford lives so I wonder why it is so hard for us to admit that we don't. I appreciate your honesty and I loved your perspective. Again, you are a veritable font of inspiration! Congratulations to you and Dan on 20 years and wishing you many, many more happy anniversaries!

Erin, can't wait - I attended the last True Scrap event and it was worth every penny! I'm really looking trying my hand at mixed media.
