I am not a knitter, a shepherdess or a farmer. I quilt, am an office administrator and I buy all of my food from a market. BUT - something about this post really spoke to me and I wish I had the words to describe it. Perhaps it is the connection between the maker and the made, and there are many in your knitting process who fit those roles. Whatever it is, it's all right there in those beautiful photos. I really enjoyed this - thank you so much! Stay warm!

I called Searsport Rug Hooking this summer, looking for advice on a beginner project for my sister. When I tell you that they are the nicest people in the world, I mean it. If I were not a committed quilter with a serious fabric stash, I would've bought a project for myself - and maybe one day I will! So looking forward to your projects!
