Lorne Michaels has a knack of finding talent for SNL--Kristen Wiig was Nasim Pedrad six years ago. Even the players that don't work out tend to have careers later on. Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, and Jay Mohr have all done fine after only so-so SNL runs. And Casey Wilson is arguably the best part of Happy Endings.
