I like how the design for the Writer's site looks like some sort of drafting design with quad-paper and blue-pencil logo. Maybe you made a mistake and meant to use that for drafting.stackexchange.com? Also, to be honest I agree with Jim Cooper -- never really seen anything Spolsky has coded, just the things he's wrote about 'managing programmers'.

I've had a bad taste in my mouth for all things Google for a looong time. At first there were some growing pains with it, but I've moved to Bing as a search engine and at this point, to me it feels speedy and lean like Google used to. When I have gone to Google to look something up, I find that the result list is a near useless mess of ads, spam, and a general waste of time.
