whenever i move away, stop listening to and feeling Him, the rhythm is what alerts me. signals that i'm out of step. that the flow is at risk. the beauty of my music disrupted. i usually look pretty silly too. Continue reading

Rae, sweet friend, I love you and thank you for the words of encouragement. Yes, busy... and to some degree this is the stuff of life, right? It is happening and the challenge is to remain engaged in all that the Lord puts before us, while resting at the same time. I am learning that resting does not always mean stopping. In fact often resting is active. Inside resting In Him - outside saying "yes" to what He gives me to do. ... what HE gives me to do! ^__^ love to you!! robin

... how does faith become strong? not in an instant. faith is not gained by swallowing a magic vitamin. there is no couch-potato-to-marathon-over-night-plan. but there is a way to go from the couch of faith-less, fear-ful, worry-fat lounging to renewed strength. to running and not growing weary. to a faith walk that is strong. sustained. enduring. maybe radical. is it faith-less to lay down the vision? to not only let it die, but be the one to pile stones high, bind the promise and lay it atop? to raise my own trembling hands, gripping a cruel, cold blade? will i plunge it if He asks me to? Continue reading

Great question, Claire! thanks, it's prompted me to take the next step in this blog and with my products, to find a good nutritional analysis tool to calculate this information. I've done just that. You can find the tool i used here... Here is the nutritional analysis for my cocoa date nut bars. It is based on dividing the mixture into 30 servings, about 1 oz. each. per 1 oz. serving: 118 calories, 56 from fat. total fat ... 7 grams saturated fat ... 3 grams trans fat ... 0 grams cholesterol ... 0 mg sodium ... 3 mg total carbohydrate ... 15 grams dietary fiber ... 2 grams sugars ... 10 grams protein ... 2 grams These are the highlights... hope that helps!
Have you made these yet? they're gluten free, grain free sugar free, guilt free yumminess! soft. slightly chewy. packed with protein, fiber, antioxidants. a subtle sweetness naturally from dates and coconut and of course the rich cocoa always seems to make my heart sing. yesterday i just needed these Cocoa...
