I don't know if you'll see this comment, since I am #32, but just wanted to tell you a few things. I have been a "stalker" of your beautiful blog for quite some time (but first time commentor). I just ordered your quilt book (and am stalking my mailbox!). I just want to say that I am SO impressed with the way that you kept up the contributions to your blog, even while writing/publishing a book. Some (well-known) bloggers stop offering their readership any big projects because they want to "save" the big things for the book, and only seem to advertise/talk about their new book endlessly. The whole reason that they are going to sell these books, is BECAUSE of their blog. I can't stay a reader when this begins to happen, and I quit reading. (And also lose interest in the book.) I don't care if all the blogger puts in the book is the info on the blog, I'll still buy it just to repay the blogger for staying true to her readers. I hope this makes sense. So, I ordered your book just as soon as the budget would allow (wish it would have been sooner, but better late than never!). Thanks for rewarding your readers; both of the book, AND of you beautiful blog. ps....I have never actually tackled a whole quilt before, and am truly excited to have a go. Thanks for giving us "modern" sewers such beautiful projects. jamie in az
