Sterling Hayden was much more than a WWII hero, who was in the Marine Corps. Hayden signed on under a nom-de-plum, and served in the Pacific and in the OSS. He was one of the major contributors to the war effort and as a member of the forerunner of the Centrl Inelligence Agency, is often overlooked for his service.

How about going back to the mid-60's, in North Hollywood. Over on the north side of the 13200 block of Saticoy St., stood "Old MacDonald's Barn" During the summer and on weekends, when we were 8-10 years old, we'd sneak over there to listen to the bands and watch the adults kicking-up a storm to the country music, live band or by pre-recorded material. The one thing I certainly remember, is getting bounced out of there, because of my age. :( Anybody remember Van Nuys Quality Dairy, over on the north side of the 13000 block of Sherman Way?
