Ok, I will probably not post every day. Just a little reading rant. My daughter hates to read. Seriously hates it. "Why, oh, why" I cry to the bibliographic gods. No answer. Oh well. So I get the great Idea to offer to read a book she got at the bookfair. Reading she hates...shopping she loves. It is called The Ghost of Crutchfeld Hall, by, mary Downing Hahn. I am halfway through with this gothic horror for the elementary set. It is not bad really. Predictable and gothic. Ok I am not a big fan of the gothic horror. So Mini Nurdette says to me: "Oh good. Now you can tell me the story and I don't have to read it." I know I should have seen it comming. I just looked at her and said very clearly "ubdawazza" loosely translated to "Seriously?!" Oh I love the Mini Nurdette. I tell you what, she is going to read this gothic horror if it kills me....um her. Continue reading
