I totally agree with R.K on this, this is just a tip for small images like some pdf background, company logos, pictures from details and also information that is coming as an image from a 3rd party app that we need to show sometimes as part of our projects.
It depends of what your needs are, but embedding a georeferenced image it may not be the best practice.
Again this is just my opinion.
