I always thought that the silly season starts about now but I think it hit our family about 2 months ago. Babies, engagements, shower teas....a wedding, and now finally December! I have been so busy and my poor craft space has been so very neglected. I have a couple of little projects here that I've been creating with my Silhouette. This first one is my husbands birthday card. His hobby is remote control planes and helicopters and the Silhouette makes it so easy to make a relevant card to match just about any thing. I've been slowly teaching myself, with... Continue reading

Today I'm sharing with you a few projects that I have made using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. This machine is so awesome. I love what it can do. This first share is of some invites I made for one of my sisters upcomming wedding. It took no time with the Silhouette to cut out all of the invites. The hardest part is picking which design to use. Have a look on this card here at how clean the Silhouette cuts. The leaves in this design are quite intricate and yet they look seemless and there is no way I... Continue reading

I've got another share here using the Carta Bella Beautiful Moments Kit. Although the kit is very feminine, this time I decide to try and go for a more masculine look. A couple of the papers in the kit can be used for either gender and I grunged it up a bit to make it more boy like. Both the brown spotted base paper and the distressed spotty paper are from the kit. The number and letter stickers you get in your kits don't always have to be used to make titles. Use them to add interest and extra elements... Continue reading

This is a photo of our sons gorgeous cat, Eevee, she was named after a Pokemon. I really enjoyed having a bit of a play with this My Minds Eye Indie Chic Ginger. I've done a little bit of fussy cutting, which I haven't done for ages. Did you know that when you cut out papers, if you use a little Antique Linen around the edge of your cuts, it covers any little white bits you may have left and make it all look neater too. My page and elements have all been inked with Distress Ink, Peeled Paint and... Continue reading

I thought I'd do a bit of show and tell of the pages I made out of this beautiful Teresa Collins Sweet Afternoon kit. First up is another of my sunshine, this time with Grandma in the background. This paper is so pretty and this time I decided to pull out my Prismas and Gamsol and add a bit of colour to the page. This is before I attacked it.... and this is after.... My bird die, some distress ink, prima bird house and misc. flowers. My fave Martha Stewart punch and another favourite, my 'Oh Happy Day 'die. I... Continue reading

It's been a long time since I had a go and I'm not that much of a fan of off the page craft but I'd thought I'd have a go at it just for something different. I bought a few mini clipboard from Officeworks and used my Carta Bella Beautiful Moments kit to decorate it. The ribbon is just seam binding that I have sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Flat Fabios. These colours are awesome, really nice solid colours. I've also sprayed the finished project with Lindy's Starburst Stain, Cotton Candy for a nice shimmer. The felt flowers are die... Here's a page I have finished using the Beautiful Moments Carta Bella Kit. The papers in this kit are really gorgeous. They're also thick and really nice to use. I picked a photo for this of my Nan with my little Noodle when he was only 5 days old....he was 17 this week. Freaking my out how fast that's gone! I inked a few stamps up with Fired Brick. The colour matches perfectly with the kit. That little birdie in the corner is again a stamp from my Pink Paislee set. Have definately got my money worth out of that... Continue reading

Saturday morning I'm eating breaky in front of the computer like usual, catching up on any overnight blog posts and I pop on over to Dyan Leaveley's blog for a looksee. I sat with my mouth open watching her in a video doing a technique she calls Bleach Out. I also love the was she uses another sheet of card to lift off the excess spray from her page so that it isn't wasted. And oh my! She has waterbrushes filled with all the colours of the Dylusions range so that she can paint with them! I ♥ I've never... Continue reading

Did you know that Passion4Paper sells Magnolia stamps? Cute! I've teamed mine up today with some gorgeous leftovers from my Carta Bella kit. My little Tilda has been coloured with Tim Holtz distress markers and I am sooo loving using these. I've tried a lot of different colouring mediums, watercolour pencils, Prismas and Gamsol, and my gorgeous gorgeous Copics, but these are so easy to use. I can colour an image with the distress markers in 5 to 10 minutes. The same image can take me 45 minutes to an hour when I use Copics. So far I have only... Continue reading

It's been a little while since I popped in here and I do have some goodies to share....but not just yet ☺ I am hoping this weekend the weather will be nice enough to get some nice bright pics. I do have something that I absolutely love, to share with you today, and it's my new Artbin Magnetic Die Case. I have been busting for a decent way to store all my dies for ages and this is it! Binder rings and draws were OK when it was just the spellbinders but now so many of the Dies are teeny... Continue reading

I'm back with some more projects, this time featuring Echo Parks, This and That Charming. I was lucky enough to get this collection in my Design Team pack and I've really loved using it. There is so much in these collections, they're awesome. The photo is of my husband and I think he is absolutely charming, so the title was perfect. So first up, can you see all that gorgeous blue I've got around the page and on anything else I could stick a little ink on? Awesome colour! And of course, another fave. It's the Tim Holtz Distress Ink... Continue reading

These are awesome Kate. They look fantastic. You have inspired me to clean out my room and over the past few weeks I have cleared out bags and bags of things. All given to my sisters who have just started scrapping. Can't say I was able to stand the not buying any new product thing tho.

I was lucky enough to get some beautiful Prima Sun Kiss goodies in my design kit but I couldn't make up my mind about what to do with them. One of my sisters scrapbooked the other week for the first time, although I've been trying to convert others for ages ☺, and she asked what you use those little 6x6 pads for because who would scrapbook that small! I was like, Oh! More like, what can't you use them for. So I went on to tell her all that is good about a 6x6 and then thought I would use... Continue reading

I do! and this is just a quick show and tell with some goodies that I bought and an awesome sketch I found on the Authentique blog. I have used the gorgeous Authentique Carefree range. I just had to share. It's the first time I've used Authentique and I am instantely in ♥ with it. The papers look and feel so beautiful. I have made this page and entered it into the Authentique Paper blog for their May Sketch Challenge. Apart from inking around the edges of this paper, I did nothing to it. It has this beautiful soft distressed... Continue reading

I am so excited to be doing my first show and tell as a Design Team member here. I got so many awesome goodies in my DT pack, I didn't know what to start with. That is until I saw Heidi. I used to be a major Heidi Swapp groupie and was busting to try her new things so I couldn't go past using her Color Magic paper. In the pack you get 2 each of 6 different designs and I have so much in my head that I want to try with them. I decided the first go round... Continue reading

Hi my name is Ros Madley and I am so very excited to be chosen to be a member of the Passion4Paper Design Team. I live in beautiful Geelong, Victoria, and started scrapping 4 years ago. I was asked a few times to go along to a crop night, and I was so adamant that I wasn't interested and never would be interested in scrapbooking, that I kept saying no. I ended up going along one night after my husband talked me into it (I'm sure he had no idea what I was getting into ♥). So a few hours... Continue reading
