After a 20+ hour journey, I have sleepily arrived in Hong Kong. No, my China Lab is not taking place in Hong Kong, but I am grateful for the opportunity to spend the weekend here visiting family before flying to Beijing, where my China Lab project is actually taking place. I was born in Hong Kong, in the “village” of Tai Wai, where my grandparents are from.
