This summer for my PPS internship, I have been working closely with the Beloved Community Center. So far my internship has been a fun and growing experience that has given me the chance to explore the world beyond Guilford’s campus that I have inevitably shut out. How do we really know when social change is necessary? And how do people know the appropriate measures to take when implementing change? These are questions I have had when examining change that is made on a larger scale. I think one of the worst feelings that could be felt is one of regret. I always make promises to myself that I will take advantage of all the opportunities that I can so I wouldn't look back in sad ness. In my freshman and sophomore years, I for some reason chose not to attend the D.I.V.E. (Diversity, Integrity, Values, Excellence) Summit for first and second years. The D.I.V.E.
