Agree Lesblog, the first photo would definitely be the second best photo of the week! Is there anyone out there that hasn't done "Winter without Wetsuit" before and would be interested in giving it a go in aid of charity? Ideally people who would not be normally thinking about it to make it a real challenge! I have a few brave souls including myself who have already agreed and we would like to get a nice round number of 10: Iain Liddel Nigel Fletcher Seb Terry John Jackson (Maybe....) Nicki Brake Email me at robert.byrne00@gmail.com if you are keen!

I laughed out loud
LAUREN GIANINO's last swim tomorrow and she will be our celebrity "LETS GO!" person I hear. The swim's have been AMAZING lately and the visibility is awesome, so no excuse not to get down at 7am. I hear there will be a whale in the bay also.......allegedly :P
Thanks Jules, being new to ocean swimming I wouldnt really know what a safe distance was and would be very eager to get close as possible to things like a turtle if I saw one for the first time. Its very good to know how they react to us invading their habitat and potentially we could end up chasing them away or worse (Typical Humans!). Lesblog mentioned on Facebook that 5M is the closest you should go. Great blog Mary! FYI - In case you havent seen it, the Manly Daily are using a photo from yesterday as their cover photo on Facebook and attribute it to B&B :)
Thanks for a great blog Lauren, a really nice way to say goodbye I think! See you all at Murray's on WEDNESDAY! Myself and Iain Liddel will be busting out our dance moves after a couple of white wine spritzers...watch out!

For anyone thinking of wetsuiting up this winter, there is a shop opposite the QVB called Fastgear which offers discounts to the B&B swimmers. There is a spanish guy called Marc in the shop who will literally help you in and out of a wetsuit if you want to try (Easy ladies!). I am so glad I didnt try to save some $$ by buying online as I had to go one size down after my first swim and Marc replaced it without any fuss, he will also show you how to repair any rips you get in the future.
There are lots of triathletes in the group Marco, so do ask around if you need any advice on multisport, we even have a few record holders in swimming and running in the group so lots of experience to tap into. Best of luck for Gold Coast and also for being fully Bold in the future! (My first swim last August I had wetsuit and fins and only made it from half way to Shelly)
Thats awesome Marco, welcome to the group! Congrats on your longest swim too.
Stop signing in as other People Lesblog, its just sad.
As I said on Sat Lesblog, your blogs are only just ahead of the horror that is Wednesday blog. Oh, you are Wednesday. Awkward
NO one needs to see my pasty Irish body on T'Internet, bad enough I expose it on the poor B&B group. Brenton was blinded in one eye when he looked directly at me. Getting confused with Anna's blog is the ultimate compliment Elaine, thank you...she is the yardstick upon which we are all measured in my book. Next week I may go back to my narcissistic roots though. Glad you all enjoyed the sign off pic, I have a similar one where I am biting Rainer but its too rude for the blog.

Jules just finished!!! Saw her on the LIVE stream of the finish line! http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ironman-australia-port-macquarie-2013
Hey Brent, make sure I get a pic of you tomorrow for the blog! Just checked the Ironman tracker and Jules is smashing it. She is around the 35km mark of the run leg, almost there! Amazing. Fellow B&Ber Seb Terry is almost there too, almost exactly where Jules is on the circuit. Go guys!
I have shingles and still made it....just sayin!

163 Bold and Beautiful swimmers did the Shelly Shuffle this morning. After last Monday's amazing blog, Friday blogger AA tried to take me down a few pegs by stealing the camera. Guilt got the better of her and I got it back at Shelly after she was spotted... When looking... Continue reading
