This has nothing to do with R. Herson; he and the aforementioned Chabad rabbis are part of the messianic Chabad sect that operate outside of the Merkos auspices, aka "mushroom" Chabad houses. These are headed up by R. Yosef Carlebach and none are under chabad.org or Merkos. I know this as a BT coming up in Monmouth County, the heart of all the NJ Chabad politics and daven across from R. Carelbach in the morning. I detest the yechiniks and adamantly know that not all in Chabad, myself included, believe the Rebbe is Moshiach. While I know this website's opinions are antithetical to my own, I did want to clear the confusion up.
