I have been reading your prose for quite a few years now Mando and your post on the Incognito-Martin situation Jan 29th showed some intestinal fortitude. It was probably the one I enjoyed most. Jonathan Martin is at best a mediocre talent and a locker room risk. Unfortunately we are unlikely to get much or anything for him anyway so cutting him now is Miami's best option now. BTW When is the last time we drafted a player in the second round that panned out for us?

Mando I have been one of your readers for many years now and I can say without equivocation that you have never written a better article.

@10:14 I'm glad you left too. We have more than enough of your type down here anyway.

I remember reading Mr. Popes columns every morning while I was growing up in South Florida. Always enjoyed them. Thanks for keeping us informed for all those years.... we miss you.

If you look at the Browns recent draft picks then you wonder why the Fins would be interested in hiring anybody who had anything to do with the Browns.

Joe Robbie must be rolling over in his grave just as surely as Don Shula must squirm in his seat as he reads about the politics and intrigue that infests the current Miami Dolphins organization. Hopefully the Fins will find someone with the skillset and integrity required to get this entire organization working as a team soon.

@ Oscar C Yes. Joe Robbie had a very fine home and that's where the important decisions were made. *manner

I wonder what Don Shula would have to say about the current state of the franchise he built into the one with the best win-loss record in professional sports during his tenure. One universally RESPECTED for the manor in which they conducted business.
