I agree with your thought that "Next comes the actual execution of all of those next steps – aka The Hard Part. Does anybody else have this same problem? It sounds so great in theory from the consultant or at the convention or in the workshop. But taking it back into your classroom and actually making the necessary changes to match those next steps isn’t as easy as it really sounded on that day" It is true that a lesson plan is just a plan and the students guide the learning that goes on each day. What we think will work could be a complete success or a ineffective intervention/activity. Another challenging part of the job is the fact that what works on day could be ineffective the next or could work with one group of students and not another.
