Its like I was saying yesterday we need to own the line of scrimmage on both O and D. If we don't it will be another 8-8 yr and then this whole team will get torn down again and rebuilt.....that's another 3-5 yr plan!!

MarK I have girls and a boy. The girls come in home to visit forever. The girls are more worry in there teens. Anyway CONGRATS. Delmas stays healthy and I think he is an upgrade over Clemons. I think with last yrs draft class getting to play we will have a better D this yr. It will help if we can finally run the ball.

Posted by: Mark in Toronto | June 03, 2014 at 12:49 PM Correct Mark the same position played by Ray Lewis. Sorry for the typo....I have MLB on the brain!

Control the line of scrimmage on D and O is the way to a Super Bowl.

Ellerbe only filled in for short periods at MLB in Baltimore. He was also surrounded by great talent when he did play MLB.

Wow actually talking Football on the Dolphins football blog?? and no pests around to instigate... Any changes that can be made to our LB corp is warranted due to 2013's play. They were embarrassing last year. I expect with another year under their belt playing in the system and together will bring improvement also.

Gotta go Dolphin fans.....unlike a few on here I have a life. Its Friday night in the GREATEST city in the world.........NYC.

Tannehill 4500 yds 35 TD 15 int 12-4 record First in Divison and Championship game against Manning. Manning better play his best game. 2015 Super Bowl here we come. Then Tannehill will show either game manager, Kapernick or Wilson, how to win a game with his arm!!!

5-0 Dolphins start to 2014 and the Pats will be lucky to be 8-8 this year. The Bills, Jets and Dolphins got better and the Pats stood still with an aging Brady that was beaten badly by Tannehill and a bad Dolphins team in 2013.

You are really too stupid to see that Shula 73, 71 et al is a daily negative nancy troll just looking for suckers like you to respond? Posted by: Sheesh | May 30, 2014 at 05:54 PM Are you smart enough to know I haven't been on here for months??

2014 Tannehill will be pushing 4500 yds 35 td 15 int....that's if Wallace learns how to actually catch a ball and we have a running game. This should be enough to secure a playoff spot.

Posted by: Dan in Dade | May 30, 2014 at 05:51 PM Thank you Dan because that's exactly what I hear from Dolphin fans daily. Its just the few fools on here that are continuously bashing this talented player.

I think a lot of us can see that Tannehill is not a pro QB. I think it just takes you longer to recognize it than most. Good QB's make the players around them good. Posted by: Shula 73 | May 30, 2014 at 05:46 PM If you had any semblance of Shula in 73 you would understand that I never said Tannehill was a good QB. I said he can be a game manager like Wilson or Kapernick and with a good team around him he could lead us to the Super Bowl....just like Kap and Wislon did.

Marc from NJ....its only the few that make it bad. They are sad lonely people with no lives. We have to treat them as such. I talk to him because I really feel sorry for him. What part of NJ pal? Have you ever gone to Miami Mikes on Rt 10 in East Hanover?? Great Dolphins bar during football season!

"It's never comfortable when you're playing Peyton Manning," Wilson said. "But my whole thing is stay in the attack mode. That's what I kept telling the guys. And that's why we kept scoring touchdowns and making plays, like Percy Harvin had great night tonight. Our defense was great. Special teams made so many plays it was unbelievable." It's not the first time a quarterback has won the Super Bowl without big stats. When Ben Roethlisberger quarterbacked the Pittsburgh Steelers to a win against Seattle in Super Bowl XL in the 2005 season, he completed just nine of 21 passes for 123 yards with two interceptions. Roger Staubach was the MVP in Super Bowl VI after he completed 12 of 19 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns in a victory against the Miami Dolphins. I know facts get in the way of your rants but facts are facts you poor lonely and sad individual. Post your address so we can send money to you for food or some enjoyment.

What amazes me is the false facts that people resort to. Miami fans outside this blog call into to radio shows all day long. I hear them and to a tee they agree with ALL fans that actually understand the game. They are willing to place an OL, running game, OC around Tannehill and then see how he does. The smart fans, the REAL fans don't understand why these people want to blow it up every 2 yrs and start over. That just makes us the Browns.....doesn't it? or the Jets??

Posted by: SAM I AM | May 30, 2014 at 05:24 PM Sam this is actually a horrible comparison. Look at the running game that Wilson has?? Look at his OL?? His 44 sacks were mostly on him. So Wilsons team predicament and stats are actually a good argument for Tanne-Homers....LOL....as you put it. Also Wison did zero, but manage the game, to win the Super Bowl 18-25 206yds 2 TD. And at half they had a 22-0 lead and Wilson had only 94 yds on 9-14 with no TD's

Posted by: SAM I AM | May 30, 2014 at 05:17 PM Sam some of what you say here is true but you must remember he was the QB that beat Brady,Luck, Ryan, Flacco, Dalton, Rivers and Big Ben. So he is already a game manager QB. He will never be able to carry a team by himself. He did this last year with a very bad team around him. He has the tools to be a winner with a good team around him. Not 8 pro bowlers just good players and system.

Posted by: SAM I AM | May 30, 2014 at 05:08 PM Sam I agree with this premise but you cannot continue to waste 1st round picks on a QB. I would wait until there is a Andrew Luck type again and then tank the season. Just like the Colts did. We were bad that year and should have just tanked. I don't see this type QB coming in next yrs draft either.

Posted by: SAM I AM | May 30, 2014 at 05:01 PM Sam you are correct in this post. Tannehill is not good enough to carry an untalented team like Marino did. So lets put some talent around him and see if he is along the same lines as Wilson or Kapernick.

Marco if you are trying to get a rise out of me don't bother. I feel sorry for poor lonely souls like you. Your sad life is so empty your only outlet is to be on here, an anonymous football blog, 24/7. I wish you were close by so I could get yu a bite to eat or some company. Are you a shut in? you poor little thing.

Having fun or disagreements about football issues leads to name calling, insults and childish behavior. Real grown men just do not act like this. I am POSITIVE that NONE of you would act this way face to face with another man. Otherwise you may end up in the hospital. In NYC people get killed over looking at somebody the wrong way.

Its sad that some on here don't sit back and think of how dumb, lonely and immature they look. Don't you have any self respect at all?
