This would be good year for him (Coyle) to show it Craig. They desperately need to continue to get better at stopping the run.

The NFL is such a racket. I was going to pay NFL.com $15 (like an idiot) to watch the game tonight but you can't get it because it's blacked out locally.

I do like Barry Jackson though and at least he doesn't drop the AND THEN THERE IS THIS line every other paragraph as if it's major news when it's really something trivial.

Thanks for pointing that out DD. Seriously. I would be way too lazy to read Kaep's contract.

Thanks long time fan. I couldn't haave made it through another season without your crack observations. Btw Tony Dungy probably wouldn't have won anything without Peyton Manning and the only emotion I saw from Sparano was fist pumping on field goals.

Sam, I would necessarily argue with you about how well of a teacher Dan may or may not be. I was thinking about the lack of intensity on our sideline the last few years from a coaching stand point.

Oops I meant to say his sense of urgency.

And then there is this: Thats a mighty long post on subject matter that is really not big news imo. What would he do otther than be a figure head. Now if he actually wanted to get involved on the sideline maybe. Is old sense of urgency could always be used. He was definitely a gamer when the whistle blew.

Haven't been on in a few days. Mando's news is good on Delmas. In fact most everything so far has been positive from camp. Must be a shoe to drop at some point.

You probably right Darkoak but maybe he's just not a public speaker who knows.

Most people on here know Philbin is not the guy. But three non-winning seasons an no playoffs might be the end of his tenure. Posted by: Darkoak | June 03, 2014 at 07:32 PM ______________________________________________________ I'll be a gambler and be the first to be in Ol Joe's corner. He won 8 games last year while making a ton of mistakes. Maybe he corrects just enough of them. I wouldn't call it a sure bet for sure but the circus has to end at some point.

He shouldn't be allowed to be a Heat fan.

It's not good when you know a team is going to run the ball but you are powerless to stop them. We were in the situation several times last year. Philbin knows it, Coyle knows it, it's been well documented, we just have to hope they fix it. I do think part of it was players didn't always have there hearts in it last year. Rather it was bullygate or didn't like the coaching, their contract, or whatever. I do like early on it looks like players are buying in and want to be a part of this team. Its all on these coaches. You to have players who are willing to go out and go to battle for you.

Posted by: Marc | June 02, 2014 at 02:53 PM _______________________________________________________ I sort of get some of Porter's attitide I guess. I didn't agree with him complaining about getting pulled off the field on 3rd down after it was apparant he had lost a step.

I also hope Coyle wasn't comfortable watching tape of his D being dragged down the field by the Bucs 3rd string RB either. There was actually several games they had trouble stoppoing the run including those dreadful last two games of the season where the whole team basically quit. Of course he may site the good stats from last year but he wouldn't be experimenting with Misi if he didn't realize there were issues. I hope it all coems together for him.

Marc, The attitude I was referring to on Crowder was toward the end of his Fins carreer and was hanging with Joey Porter.

I think Misi has had his moments. Kind of steady but not spectacular sort of like Crowdwer without the bad attitude.
