On our way to the stadium. OGV...Lay off of BigWindy, he's one of our best, you can pick on the "other guy" if you must, but really, let's just cheer for the Canes and a BIG win today! Posted by: ANGRY SOUP | October 08, 2016 at 04:30 PM So, you're encouraging him to post more about the gang rape of minors. Because that's what he's posted in the past. Unbelievable. Why would you encourage that?

So he blocked my IP address without realizing there are very simple ways around that

This is not an exaggeration. There are hundreds (thousands?) of semiholes crying all over the Internet, Twitter, message boards, etc, that the game should have been canceled. What is up with that? It is one of the weakest things I've ever seen done as a collective fan base. Can't wait to tell them about it tomorrow.

At least you're a few miles inland

Sinister, just assume you're going to lose power. How far inland are you?

Do Soup and DannyBoyCane belong to a bear attack support group? They should.

I agree A.S., Cantore and the Global warming propaganda center stayed up all night for a tropical storm. Dem Canes!!! Posted by: NativeCane | October 07, 2016 at 06:31 AM So true, these weather people seem literally disappointed this hasn't caused more damage. Would have been a bunch of "I told you so's" backed by renowned scientists like Leonardo DiCaprio

I absolutely believe there were people cheering for this thing to hit and be a disaster ... absolutely

Just saw the last report. Looks much much better. Looks like the eye will stay offshore. Cone has shrunk dramatically. Not saying there won't be damage, there will be, but it's would have been much worse.

That picture of the clouds up above looks like a bear laying on its back and looking up and smiling. Look at it,

Posted by: KYcane | October 06, 2016 at 07:55 PM All I'm saying is that if the eye just manages to stay offshore by even just 20 miles, it will make a HUGE difference in terms of destruction. There will still be damage - that's unavoidable Unfortunately for the northern part of the Bahamas, Matthew just seemed to squat over them for an hour on the northern part. I know just how bad the eye is because I've experienced it first hand. I had the displeasure of having one pass right over me, so we got battened, it stopped for about 45 minutes/1 hour, we walked outside and actually stood under clear skies, then got hit by the second eyewall. It was the second one that did about 50K damage to my house. At the end of the day, it's just property. Replaceable.

Cancel the game

Track is the same as it's been epi. It was already supposed to shift NNW As a matter fact, the eyewall looks a little bit further east than the prior predictions have been, but not by much I know I'm right on this. Just look at the historical charge of the last couple of days, you can get them from NWS
Dammit lurker it's right now making that hard left!!! Don't u know not to tempt the gods like that??? Posted by: 1mg of Epi | October 06, 2016 at 06:14 PM Where did you hear that? 5PM update had it right on course.
Hey, raize, as long as you've prepared, then there's nothing else you can do. This storm just passed by me and I'm telling you, as long as you are at least 30 miles from the eye, you won't get major damage. Good luck and God bless
Posted by: raizecane | October 06, 2016 at 05:40 PM This is my fourth or fifth rodeo, Raize. Settle down. You're going to be ok.
Unless you're on the coast in Florida north of Ft. Pierce, you're only looking at moderate property damage, with the more severe damage along the coast. What they're nit telling you is that the eye is tight and hurricane force winds don't extend more than 20 miles (or less) outside the eye. Fort Lauderdale and Miami are completely in the clear, and Palm Beach county is soon to be in the clear. Unless this thing makes a hard left, which is totally unexpected, most of the bad damage will be coastal only.
Posted by: CaneRock | October 06, 2016 at 02:54 PM Chill. This is completely over for Miami & FLL. The track is history now. Fingers crossed for the coast north of PB
