I am so sorry that I called you Nicola - whoops
This morning was yet another spectacular sunrise, spectacular conditions and spectacular company as we celebrated Gemma and Nicola's birthday's, spotted plenty of duskies, old wives, flatheads, wobbys and other sealife. With Ian and Pauline away celebrating the wedding of their son, JK was doing on management duties, welcoming new swimmers... Continue reading

Yes, check he has a new cap tomorrow
Clearly you are no longer part of the inner sanctum if you haven't been invited to the "WOW" area
Well its official - winter is definitely just around a the corner and this morning proved it with our first swim of the year where the water temperature was under 20 degrees - who do we talk to about warming things up again!!! Despite the brisk chill in the air... Continue reading

I know we always here how today was the swim was the best this year - while today probably wasn't the best I've had this year, it was certainly up there. There was a cool nip in the air to remind us that winter is coming, yet the water was... Continue reading

Lovely blog Jenny and certainly a lot to see. We even got to see the turtle coming up for air. The duskies were so close to the shore as well

Not one Lainey but two swimming together.
Today was, without doubt, the best day's swim we've had in weeks. While even yesterday we were still dealing with the washup from storms which seem to have gone on forever, today it was perfect, very little waves, crystal clear waters and plenty of fish out to play. Even the... Continue reading

Great blog Pete - plenty to see today - saw the eagle rays on the move but still haven't seen the turtle - think I need to go swimming with the turtle whisperers Elaine and Edwina
After a couple of days of rain and lumpy seas today things had settled down quite a bit. We are all bracing ourselves for the heatwave that is about to hit us over the next few days but what better way to cool down than a beautiful swim from Manly... Continue reading

Lovely blog Lisa - it was a spectacular morning out. Congrats to Pauline Forster as well who today did her first double ever, a real trouper
Well done Mary on 1000km, quite an achievement. A lovely day in the ocean today, albeit a little choppy but the water temperature was divine
Yes it has been hot, hot, hot, but didn't we love that cool change come through yesterday. Regardless of the weather or temperature our fearless group of swimmers were at it again this morning. Today we were joined by Ian and Pauline's daughter Kristy for her first B&B swim -... Continue reading

Even though it was rainy conditions this morning, there was still a great turnout of swimmers for this mornings jaunt from Manly Beach to Shelly Beach and return. Yesterday there were 80 people leaving at 6.30 for their morning swim and this morning another large contingent turned up again. Above... Continue reading

Almost as good as last week when it rained heavily and we were rewarded with the most beautiful double rainbow over Queenscliff - every swim in the rain is something special.
I believe she has been suitably punished!!!! At least she left her cats to venture down and join us this morning
Not my first blog Rusty - I'm an old hand now, but thanks for the comments and yes wonderful swim this morning
AWOL - well that's not true he did ask for leave, hopefully he will be back soon
What a relief it was today on two counts - one the waves were much friendlier looking, even though there was a light drizzle and two: that stifling heat was gone with that southerly coming through last night. There was a large group of 6.30 swimmers out to play. Reports... Continue reading

Great first blog Peter - look forward to you revealing all of Bold and Beautiful's secrets
As Donald Trump contemplates how to decorate his new sandpit in Washington and which world leader will be the first he invites over for a play date, the rest of the world was getting on with life and that was no exception for Bold and Beautiful swimmers. But Capless Dave... Continue reading

Great job Edwina for your first blog and nice to have whales and dolphins out there this morning.
I think he was waiting for you!!
After the large seas of the past week, today could not have been a more perfect day to dip your toe in the water. Even the whales showed their joy with a spectacular display of breaching and tail slapping as they made their way from Freshwater towards Bondi before the... Continue reading
