Founder and CEO Tom Beckenham has stepped down after 10 years at the helm of Specle, UK market leader in advertising delivery to print digital and out-of-home. Effective immediately, Simon Murray, longstanding non-executive board member and investor in Specle, has been named interim CEO. The board has begun a search for Tom’s successor. Our team has just developed and released a Dropbox integration that lets agencies automate proofing by connecting their Specle account to Dropbox. Our previous solution was the on-site Specle Local box, an integration that combined our campaign management tool and cloud-based preflighting and delivery service with the agency’s own colour-conversion and proofing solutions. And while this was successful for several years, it became clear that with our growing customer base the product could not scale as required.
