This looks BEAUTIFUL! And I'm sure it's utterly delicious. Beetroot and goats cheese must be one of the best combos ever!
Extremely impressive, Rachel - you've created such a beautiful and elegant piece of furniture!

Lovely! I do have a fabric spray that I use sometimes but, like you, I'm not crazy about the slightly chemically scent it has. Also, have you thought about taking your oil blends and making them into actual perfumes? Maybe with the witchhazel but without the water?

You made something really beautiful here. Love the contrasting textures and neutral colour.

There is something very charming and peaceful about this room - at the same time as it being perfect for a preteen boy! Saving this as inspiration for when my toddler grows up a bit!

Is it just a coincidence that you featured this DIY during Passover week? ;)

It looks so bright and beautiful - I love it!
So cheerful and calming at the same time. Your guests are goung to love it!
I absolutely agree about pink not having to be only a 'feminine' colour. Colour corresponding to gender is such a silly idea! Beautiful space, Laura!
Sounds yum! I live in Israel and date syrup is a very popular local product here. It's called silan and is used a lot as a sweetener, a bit like honey. My kids like it on toast with peanut butter and it's also amazing on greek yoghurt, maybe with a little raw tahini. Also, because its unrefined, it feels a bit more virtuous than eating sugar, even though it's super sweet!

I love the chunky texture that the finger knitting gives to the weave. Beautiful project, Rachel!

Thanks so much, Elsie, for this honest sharing. My husband and I are hunting for our own home and we dream of buying a fixer-upper and renovating it ourselves. But I think I'm really naive too! I think about how much fun it will be and how great to be able to make our own decisions about how the house eventually looks - I don't spend so much time thinking about the stress and mistakes and the not feeling so in control at all! This post is a real eye opener and a valuable reminder that even those with reno experience like yourselves make mistakes too!

This is such a beautiful workspace, Emma! I love the bright whites and colour scheme with the wood floor and ceiling. It definitely looks like an inspiring and energizing place to work.

This is so cute and quirky - there's something about toys that come in little boxes! I know my three-year-old daughter would love it!

I think the eyes on the wall look really cool and kind of Aztec. It never even occurred to me that they could be seen as 'creepy'!
Ah! Room makeovers! My favourite! I love all the little details and the DIYs. And the room looks so light and bright despite the high small windows. I always worry that my plants won't get enough light unless they're right next to a window, although I suppose it depends on the plant. How are your plants doing?
This post made me smile so much. Love the cake and the decorations, and your family is so precious! Happy birthday, Smith!

I love this. Do you think it would work with a plastic pot (rather than terracotta)?

Thanks, LaTonya, for this very cute and useful DIY!
Funny. I was just thinking about this this morning. I'm 37 and today I'm wearing a mini skirt and purple tights. This is my style and it feels totally normal to me, but I can't help but notice that none of the other mums from my daughter's kindergarten dress like this! I definitely agree with the sentiment that you've got to wear what makes YOU feel most comfortable and confident and not change your style to fit in with anyone else's expectations!
This is unbelievably cute. As soon as I saw the title I knew it was going to be a Laura post!
