What a fantastic half term we've had exploring the Stone Age! Class 3 have been very busy digging for evidence, researching animals of the Stone Age, designing our very own cave paintings, producing rock databases, building Stonehenge out of biscuits, as well as creating sunset silhouette art work. With a little help from Ug, Om and The Stone Age Boy, we've also written some fabulous setting descriptions, instructions on how to catch a prehistoric beast and diary entries sharing how much we hate wearing stone trousers! We finished our topic by reflecting on everything we've learnt and working collaboratively to produce a whole class Stone Age fact file. Continue reading
