When I use Firefox I have encountered 2 issues: 1) There are times the main toolbar doesn't load up, so I am unable to process links, photos, etc. 2) I cannot insert photos. It freezes up my entire computer and I have to shut down my Internet browsers.

Vince, you are right. I never swapped out my teams in the Chick-fil-A bowl from last week. I have it fixed. Thank you for catching my error.
CCGator -- This forum is for college football links, no matter who the author is or what he/she has written in the past. This is Alabama-UF week, so I linked to an Alabama story. Matt -- I generally post articles from around the country and stay away from locals.
I think UConn is going to get the final spot to come to St. Pete.
CCGator -- Great idea!
Dave, How can you say TCU schedules bottom feeders when they played Oklahoma twice, Texas once, Texas Tech once and Clemson once? Those schools have a recent record of success. And as you know, schedules are made several years in advance. Let's say they had played UF in 2007. Would you say that they scheduled a bottom feeder because the Gators finished 9-4?
Just curious. How many of you who responded are white males? If you read the story, you would see it is not just about African-American coaches. It is about minority coaches, whether they are black, Hispanic, Asian, etc. And it also is about women and minorities not becoming presidents/chancellors/ADs/faculty reps/etc. Sean -- If you mean to tell me that Charlie Strong is unqualified, then you are not watching college football. As for the rest of your post, it is not even worth going into your blatantly ignorant stereotypes.
I bet all of Seminole Nation is saying the same thing.
DutchFSU: No I have not, tell me that one again? I swear this is not FSU out there.
PS Gator -- Not really. As you know, teams can win with players who get into legal trouble.
Dear Gatorbates, StayClassy and PS - Gator: If you read beyond the headline, then you would see that I am asking if this is a legitimate question because it has been written several times in Tennessee. I also said there is no way Kiffin would get my vote. Now why is this a post? Because it is good fodder for debate, which is one of the things that makes college football so fun to discuss.
Thanks for your comments. My take is this. Clearly the league does not want its coaches mouthing off, hence the public reprimands. But if it was serious about this, then it should punish them more harshly. Quite frankly, the league should be the ones taking the officials to task, and it has with its decision to suspend the crew that botched two calls (plus the admission both calls were wrong). To have coaches come out and question the integrity of the officiating cannot be tolerated. It just adds to the perception problems. The league is not hiding anything because it is the one that has, in fact, issued statements on the poor calls. But it must present a united front in the matter and cannot have its coaches making things worse than they already appear.
Joe, I just double checked Colley and added up his numbers and came up with 33-27. Where is he wrong?
Marinesean4ever: thanks for your question!
Scott was penalized, but the SEC ruled that the 15-yarder he got was justified. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4534433
Bryan: 1. the call was not taunting. 2. no, i do not think he was taunting. 3. the referee who made the call admits he messed up. From his ESPN.com interview, Marc Curles said, he "saw out of the corner of my eye what I thought was a foul. I can't think something is a foul." http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4583062 And here is the quote from Marcus Gilbert: "I didn't think that was a penalty,'' Gilbert said. "It was just two guys going hard. I was trying to make a play, pick up some blocks down field. I don't remember (him saying) anything.''
More Me: Actually, if you read what I write, then you would know that I Monday I said Bama would play Texas in Pasadena. http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports_college/2009/10/vote-now-who-will-play-in-the-bcs-national-championship-game.html And yes, these quotes are newsworthy because we are in Orlando, where there are a lot of Gator fans. Check in at the Gator blog to see if people really think I have orange and blue pompoms.
Who said my "panties were in a bunch?" You guys are the ones arguing with me, and now you are saying that it was indeed a favorable spot? Which is it?
If the pole is to the right of the 29, then it is also to the right of the 19. The screen grab shows Tebow barely getting to the 19. Which means he would be a yard short if you are keeping proper NCAA statistics. (third and inches is really third and 1 in the final NCAA statistics books). And if this is negative blogging, it is only negative against the SEC officials, who did a terrible job in this game.
XMann: As I stated in the above post, that still shot came from the blog Get the Picture. The Gators needed to get to the 18 for a first down. If he is at the 18 in this still shot, then I am wrong. As for the picture rob provided, you cannot actually see where the orange marker is on the sideline. That is being blocked by the score up at the top. The first down was on the 28, but it looks as if the flag is at the 29. Here is the game book for the down and distances. http://www.gatorzone.com/football/boxscore.php?gameid=7533#GAME.PLY
Bull Gator: Please point out the pot shots taken at the Gators in the last 15 posts. The 3 dealing with the questionable calls vs. Arkansas, including this one, have everything to do with the poor referees in the SEC. It's not the Gators' fault those refs made bad calls. That is national news going on around the Gators that cannot be ignored. The last posts have also included news and information on Brandon Spikes and Tebow injuries, links to other Gator stories of note from around the country, pictures from the game and a big commitment for the 2011 class. Jeremy works hard to provide news and information on this blog. It is a newspaper blog, so anything concerning the Gators is fair game.
Miami will be somewhere in the No. 9 range, behind LSU, Cincinnati and Iowa. The 'Canes could also be No. 10, depending on TCU. In the most recent simulated BCS standings, the Horned Frogs were ahead of Miami. The Hurricanes are hurt on the strength of schedule front because FSU is terrible and Oklahoma is struggling. Losing to a two-loss Va Tech team also hurts. TCU is undefeated.
More Me: You are right. Atlanta is an hour from Athens so I lumped it into local, as opposed to a paper outside the area. I will fix it.
Dave, Thank you for catching my error. I am going to fix it.
No, you are totally right. The season hangs in the balance.
