I never really measure a row gauge - for the smaller size Id knit until about 5 above the ribbing and for the larger Id go to about 6. If you have access to the head your knitting for you can measure to about 2 above the ear and use that as a guide. Hope this helps! -Amy

Ah, but did you visit the Quilt Cottage - just a few doors down from Sals? Nancy is a 7th Avenue type turned local fabric shop owner - she's lovely and has a wonderful selection of fabrics... I drive down there for most of my 'needs'. And Millers - what can I say? If I could only afford to buy my kids toys/clothes/gear there... alas. I didn't know you grew up there. But there are many many things I don't know about you. I like the mystery but maybe we'll actually spend some face to face time. Please please please make the rain stop. Do I sound like I have cabin fever? I'll stop now.

Visually the site is fun and interesting. It seems easy to navigate too. I give it two thumbs up. I've never heard of this before - thanks for the intro. I think Jake would love it.

Oh yeah! Baby sugar is the best sugar there is. Take a teeny nibble for me please.

I'd rather mess up and wash the food processor than chop an onion. This seems like a MUCH better solution.

We don't get out of school until Jun 23rd. It's insane. Last year our school was finished by June 5th (we switched schools this year) and I do miss that so very much. Just like you say - it's not only the kids that are having trouble focusing these days. I, too, have it in my mind to make our teacher's gifts and think these might be just the thing!

If I told you that Niall and I are going to see Hair tonight - would you be jealous? Or have you already seen it? Fun running into you at lunch today. Eventually we'll do it on purpose! Was that India? It didn't seem possible.
