I'm not surprised you're getting some heat for this, but I think what you've written is pretty well balanced. Yes, suicide is often an act of rage; Yes, clinical depression is a catastrophically self-reinforcing illness. But what a person does under the influence of depression is not disconnected from who they are before it strikes, so it's good to plant a seed of resistance in people's minds when they're sane enough to hear it.
