I probably need more of a context to answer the question in the Blog. In general, though, I always like spreadsheets since they tend to make the data entry process far more efficient, and more than that, they are easier to modify if you have to make changes, additions, etc. Online forms require HTML, CSS and other skills. Spreadsheets are far more accessible to far more people.
