When I first found out from other Petersham locals Richard had died I got the feeling he had somehow disconnected with his family. It was sad to reach that conclusion then, and seems more tragic now that you have added to his story here. (And it looks like over at the 'sham blog as well). If you're ever in Petersham you might like to drop in to visit Mick the newsagent (opposite Richard's shop) to find out more about Richard's time in the area.

Thanks Davey - nice to see folks in faraway places are keeping an eye on what's happening at home. If you're thinking of investing in Australia well you now know where to go. And I think I know the site you have in mind, and it does need some structure, it's true ;p.
