It was an extremely emotional event I performed for this afternoon. The person I helped honor today when I performed as a bagpiper was an amazing Navy man. He loved his country and served his community so much. I could feel the love his family had for him. I performed a few pieces at the beginning before the service started. Then came the hardest part for me. They folded the flag and gave it to the widow, but what got to me was, they had a digital bugle to play Taps for him. I just wanted to cry right then... I would say that for the most part I try to add personality, but a lot of my website is professional, so I have to keep that in mind as well.

Firefighters, police in Bulloch Co. gather to remember 9-11 - WTOC-TV: Savannah, Beaufort, SC, News, Weather & Sports It was a true honor to serve here as the bagpiper yesterday. Thank you all service members for your brave heroic service and for putting your lives on the line for others so unselfishly every single day. So many take what you do for granted. The 9-11 observance in Statesboro pays particular attention to the men and women who answered the emergency call that day. Firefighters, EMTs and law officers across Bulloch County gathered to remember the tragedy of all lives lost... Continue reading

I was so honored to be chosen to perform as the bagpiper for the Bulloch County, GA 9/11 memorial ceremony today. It was extremely moving and so inspiring. So many service members lost their lives eleven years ago today. May we never forget. Video: http://www.wtoc.com/category/240221/video?clipId=7713259&autostart=true Continue reading
You have a very interesting website. I like that you don't use animal testing either.
Wow, your stories are really inspiring.

I think people are sometimes afraid to comment for some reason. I don't get many comments.

Dressed in a navy blazer, cream–colored socks and other traditional accoutrements, Alexandria Davis stood proudly, every inch the Scots–Irish lass. via www.connectsavannah.com Dressed in a navy blazer, cream–colored socks and other traditional accoutrements, Alexandria Davis stood proudly, every inch the Scots–Irish lass. “Do I look all right?” she asked as she patted her kilt. “My mother got me this new costume and it’s the first time I’ve worn it.” Satisfied with the answer that she looked lovely, she gathered up the unwieldy collection of sculpted wood sticks and pillowy velvet. Soon the somber tones of the Scottish Highlands filled the... Continue reading

via www.youtube.com I was honored to be the bagpiper for the wreath laying ceremony for these amazing Girl Scouts. I was invited to join as well and was told I will be a great benefit to the organization. They are so accepting already. It is great to know that even though I am totally visually impaired, I can still help people in so many different ways. One of the leaders told me about how there are even two younger visually impaired memmbers in our state and that is just so neat! My favorite part was when one of the Girl... Continue reading
