Well, Gevmage lost me pretty quick there (Quantum Mechanics was never one of my strong suits...I was always took Janeway's advice on that one and didn't even try to figure it out) but I liked the rest of your post. I have a similar situation...to me the worlds I create in my mind are darn well more interesting than the real world...but at the same time the real world is just as fascinating as my mind, in it's own way.
