That is really cool. My favorite part is the Cards Against Humanity photobomb.

Congrats, Wil! Always pleased when you get to do something cool. Convinces me that karma is a bitch to dicks, but not to the good guys.

I'm very, very excited that all my chores are done and I can review what the internet has been doing and then go get the comic. My favorite of your talents is the writing, truthfully. You have a gift for narrative. I love all your nonfiction stuff, especially the blog. I love the writing best when you narrate it (comic timing!) either live or on the Burrito. I'm not a fan of distopia or dark fiction, though, so a lot of your preferred fiction output isn't really my preferred reading. No judgment intented! But I'm SUPER excited to read this comic, because I know you're going to do the story justice. By the way, I still plan to make your Space Invaders bowtie, with some advice from @moine (Ben) on bowtie patterns, but we bought a new house a month ago and all my sewing stuff is packed up while we do insane amounts of DIY. I know you probably won't make DragonCon this year, but I will find a way to get it to you. Perhaps through @dammit_liz. PS. Yes, I was the Space Invaders dress on JoCo cruise crazy.

This can be arranged... ;)

Everyone was so kind about it. Next year: More geek fabric made into dresses!

That's amazing, Wil. Just FYI... You know what? One of my top five was when you clapped both hands over your mouth in regards to my space invader dress. So, yeah. Thanks. It made me giggle gleefully.

I didn't figure out what the first asterisk was until I read it at the end. Americans! Why can't we deal with 24 hour time? I changed my cell so I have to use it. On feildwork in Brussels I found it super useful. Hubs is also foreign so that helps.m;) Also, this is interesting. You have such a way with words - an ability to paint a narrative picture that I envy deeply. I hope you get the job - I always do, because I want good people to get the cookies - but I also hope you have more time to write for us. I would totally pay a subscription to read you. Just sayin'. Also, I was JUST this afternoon on a brewery tour and thought about how much fun you (and some other beer geeks) would have on it. NOLA Brewery in New Orleans is really great, if you ever get a chance to visit - DO EET.

I have to go to my parents for Christmas, and they do not have BBC america.... I am the saddest sad girl in all the land. I wonder if I can upgrade their service just for while I"m there?

Definately an awesome prize. Ordered three samples last week and I'm determined to use one for a formal dress. I need this! Doctoraicha on spoonflower.

Hi wil, I would not presume to want to sip them with you guys. If I find something interesting you might like, I'll pass it to Liz and she can pass it along. I'm not a creeper! I just like to give things to people if I think they will enjoy them. You, joco, storm bring a lot of laughter to my life, and whisky is easy. I have no idea what to give paul, but if I bring whisky I'd prefer you enjoy it with your friends. Cheers!

Oh man. I love it when you play jerks on TV, but I love the Burrito best.

Hi Wil, Watched the whole video (recorded, since it was happening during my commute home yesterday). Content: Made me feel like a creeper, but Ok, your stuff is VERY cool. One thing that I wondered is whether you like speyside single malts? I like my scotch a little on the peaty side. I like a nice Glenfarclas, which is sometimes hard to find in the states (not impossible though). I'll be in London about two weeks before JCCC, and may bring you, Storm, JoCo, et. al. a couple of small bottles of whisky. But only if that wouldn't be too creepy. There's a really great whisky shop in the area where I always stay (Whisky Exchange, Bloomsbury St., near the British Musuem, if you ever want to visit it). They will order things down from Scotland and hold them for you before you even get to the country. They are wonderful. Story: That story is awesomely creepy, and you know we all love to hear you read your stuff live. Video concept: Not only yes, please, but HELL to the YES PLEASE. I would always want to donate. I like to suport things I like by people I find entertaining, especially since you'd be doing a HUGE favor to those of us who aren't always able to go to LA. If you do a Largo stream on Sunday, I won't be able to watch live, but would donate to watch later.

I would fly to California to play video games and drink beer at a brewpub.

Wil: I met you once, and you were awesome. I wrote a blog post about it. So, just know that for every one of the crazies, there are at least 1000 fans that AREN'T. And if you're interested, here's the blog post, titled "In Which I Fist-Tap Wil Wheaton", which by the way is kind of embarrassing for me but what the hell. Hee. http://doctoraicha.livejournal.com/213763.html

I can't tell you enough times how great a dad I think you are. You and Anne seem to be (from your writings) great parents. With great kids. Y'all deserve the BEST. Everyone who met your son this weekend said how awesome he is. So, yeah. Thanks for sharing this family moment. I hope you have at least HALF as much fun at DragonCon. WE ARE ALL SO EXCITED. Also, the photo of you, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day with RYAN PHOTOBOMBING is the best pic from ComicCon in the history of EVER.

Wil, as a College professor that tries to teach this, all I can really say is... WORD. KIDS: Take your education seriously and there's a good chance you will get to do a job that you don't hate all the time, and that pays the rent, buys you food, and once in a while lets you go to a fun con. And get off my lawn.

Dear Wil, First of all, thanks for posting this. Seeing you get that angry was a little scary, to be honest. I read it, couldn't figure out what lit the fuse, and basically put it down to "Oh well, WTF, but not really my damage." Anyway, I can totally understand why, with the context, you got so angry so quickly. I don't think that the other party in the business was trying to be an asshole, and I TOTALLY get that everyone gets to be mad when it's something THAT personal. You ARE a gamer, an advocate, and a gamerdad (wtf, gamerdadTM, I mean). OTOH, dude. You have the ConCrud (so do I, actually, not the PAXCrud, but the DragonConCrud, so I am totally sympathetic). You were supposed to be somewhere having fun and performing with your mates, and that got fucked by the Crud. Then, to have someone seem to question that commitment that we see from you on a regular basis is really infuriating. So don't beat yourself up. I don't think you violated the Prime Directive**, and I'm the person who was trying to set up the visit at the University that has fallen through. **We say someone "has violated the Prime Directive" when we want to obliquely call someone a dick. As in, "That guy over there is violating the Prime Directive," when someone is misbehaving. So, I pass you a virtual Guinness, and remind you that everyone has a bad day, everyone gets mad when it's something that impersonal and important, and hell, we're all human. It's cool, man. You've never pulled that "WTF DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM" crap, and honestly, people who think that's what you were doing really aren't your people.
