Glad you like her, Wil. She's one of our favorites up here. I occasionally get the chance to run the camera for her webcast'd concerts, and always have a blast. Plus, she's just good fun to have lunch or a beer with. Hope you get to hang with her some more in the future!

I went ahead and voted early and for Obama. Not because you, Wil, said to. But because I did the research myself, and listened to what they were saying. And I went against my home state's support of "Our Gal Friday", because unlike the people who want to cash in on next-door-neighbor-celebrity-cachet, I would really like the better person for the job. I hope everybody does their homework. And remember to get out and VOTE!

Tivo is now set. Oh, and it looks like "Pie in the Sky" is airing, too. Huh. Romantic Comedy?

While I would love to be able to attend PAX (my sister just had her first baby only 10s of miles away from there!) I won't be able to be there... Course, i've got a better excuse, in that I'm getting married, and inheriting a step-daughter while I'm at it. Wil -- thanks for all your stories about the boys. You don't know how much they've helped me overcome my fears of step- parenting. A few years ago, I never would have looked twice at this woman and her daughter except as friends. But with your easy-to-relate-to demeanor, I wizened up and made the plunge. Thanks for everything!

Yet another big fan of "Invincible" and Dr. Horrible up here. Haven't read any of the Old Mans War series yet, so thanks for the heads up, and as soon as I can spare a dime for some books, I'll be picking them right up!

Thanks, Wil, for reminding me to thank Grant. Anchorage theatre won't be the same without your shenanigans, and neither will rock-climbing. Peace, my friend.

Ooh, "..can't talk about it.." projects are the best. Have fun, break legs, etc., and we'll wait patiently to hear all about it when you get back. #205

I've got all your books, and I'll keep buying them until you jump the shark. But I don't see that happening in the near future. You know how to write an ending, unlike that Crichton hack. :-)

I just got back from breakfast, and put my order in. There's no counter that I could see, so I'm taking the chance that since it let me order a book, I'll get a book. P.S., Wil, I've got an autographed single of that Winger song, FTW!

suh-weet. I'll be putting down for a hardcover special edition. Wish I could have got down to PAX, but work and theatre conspire so...

Yeah, put me down for a signed book, wil. I can't wait for it to come out. Oh, speaking of writing... any scripts in the works? Ever since August Wilson left, there's been a void in the universe...

I saw it in our local THX theatre friday night after performing in Shakespeare in Hollywood - so being a bit exhausted my have colored my experience. It wasn't... bad. The action scenes were well done, giving a very nice sense of Spidey's 'flight'. I liked the genesis of Sandman, but his character in the movie was extremely weak, especially given the post-climax scene with Spidey. The dialog in the movie ranged from 'comic-book-campy' to 'Lucas-love-scene'. Unfortunately, i think it weight too much on the 'Lucas' side. I won't say anything about the ending because I don't want to give too much away, but I thought it was the weakest part of the storyline, the movie, and the whole franchise. If they decide to do a fourth, I'll probably wait for my friends to see it and report back, instead of seeing it opening weekend.
