Yes! On a selfish note, now I don't have to pick between you and the keynote! You were going to win anyway, but doing both is double the awesome. Thanks for the update :)
Will you have any sort of purchase-able swag @ your booth?
minor #PAX schedule change (Friday and Sunday)
I got a call from Enforcer Mojo this morning, advising me that the Expo hall at PAX doesn't open until 10am on Friday, so trying to start a signing at 10 seemed a little silly to me, because people who couldn't get into the giant line for Expo hall early enough could potentialy have a sadface (a...
Good to know you'll be ENJOYING PAX this year! It's meant for enjoyment not stress, and with how dedicated you are to your fans, it's only fair that we understand your need for gettin' your geek on.
Are you selling any special things at the booth this year, like shirts or anything? I seem to be lacking in things to get signed.
Looking forward (hopefully) to seeing you :)
My 2010 PAX Prime Schedule
When I was at GenCon last month, I signed autographs and stuff for close to six hours a day. I got to meet a lot of people (and took home about ten pounds of dice!) but I hardly got to see any of the con, and I got to play a grand total of three games while I was there. I’ve been working my ass ...
I third the Dept. of Geek Affairs shirt request :P Wish I hadn't missed the concerts, but thanks for sharing this. PAX is a really powerful place. I thought it was just going to be a regular con, but there really are memories that will last forever, and some amazing energy that happens when 50,000 people with the same goal all get together.
Oh, found the seal :)

in which a proclamation is made
I seem to have come down with some kind of post-PAX flu. It's not the Swine Flu, but I am coughing so much even I have grown tired of saying "my god, it's full of stars." I can't really focus long enough to write the PAX post I want to write (it's at about 30% completion, I guess) so please allo...
Aw, I totally regret missing the concerts! That is way awesome, and yes, you completely deserve it for being so...well, what everyone else said.
Also, I just want to say how awesome it was to meet you and get your chapbook (which was also awesome, btw - definately would read more of your fiction). I was wearing the "What Happens In The Holodeck..." shirt, and when you told me you liked it, I almost died. I mean, how do you be COOL around WIL WHEATON?! I tried. It didn't work. Thanks for taking time out for your fans.
wil wheaton gets lucky ... sometimes
This was the ultimate highlight of my #PAX 2009, and watching it again just now brought tears to my eyes again. I'm not worthy of something this awesome. Thank you Jonathan, and Paul, and Storm, and Molly for making me feel cool. I <3 you guys.
I lost my dog, Napoleon, after 10 wonderful years together. He was ripped from me so suddenly (run over), and it was very difficult to be with. Those of us here who have pets understand every emotion that you are going through. Pets ARE a part of the family - they don't hold grudges, they don't start drama, and they love you unconditionally. They are friends and companions, and when we lose them, we lose parts of ourselves.
Riley seems like a wonderful dog as well. She is grieving with you, really, you aren't just imagining this. When one of my dogs ran away, my female dog was so struck with grief that she didn't eat (or really move) for days until we found him. She sat by the back door, looked for him in the yard, and did so many other things that made me understand how emotionally complex dogs really are.
All of our good thoughts are with you as you go through this.
in which some comfort is found
I saw Ferris' empty dish last night when I fed Riley, and it unleashed an agonizing wave of sadness so overwhelming, I dropped to the floor in our living room and cried as hard and as long as I ever have in my life. After she was finished eating, Riley came over to me and sniffed at my face. Th...
Totally love it and can't get it out of my head. The Guild is *awesome*, and season 3 is going to rock. Woot. You and Felicia are like...my nerd heroes.
oh yeah, this is totally +5 to sexterity
Just in case you haven't seen it ... Congratulations to Felicia, the cast of The Guild, and everyone else involved in the creation and production of the Do You Want To Date My Avatar video. Ever since I saw a rough cut of it while we were shooting season three, I knew it was going to be a h...
Noooooo not SUNDAY! I'm only going to be there Friday and Saturday. Disappointment onset in 3...2....

announcing THE AWESOME HOUR!!1
The schedule for PAX 09 has been posted, and I am on it. BEHOLD: Wil Wheaton first came to PAX in 2007, when he gave the keynote address that your parents won't stop making you listen to in the car. In 2008, he returned for a panel that asked and answered the burning question, "Can Wil Wheaton r...
I'm usually just a lurker, but I had to come out of the...lurking...closet....today and tell you how extremely excited I am for this book to finally come out =D I'm sure that buying it will just cement my nerdiness, but seriously, behind-the-scenes-type Star Trek stuff makes me all giddy. And the fact that YOU'VE done it...wow. It will be nothing short of amazing.
Edit: Oh right, are you going to be at PAX this year?
this is the introduction to memories of the future
Memories of the Future should have been released already, but it was significantly delayed when I did a whole bunch of the "acting" part of the "Writer/Actor" multiclassing I've been doing for the last few levels. However, I took a giant leap toward release (wow, that sounds dirty) about 40 minu...
If Dodd, Kucinich, or Gravel get the nomination (or vice-president, or something, hopefully our country will begin to turn around. Politics is something I am very passionate about, and even though I rarely respond here, I felt compelled to.
It was like..
"Dood, Wil totally has the same ideas as me.....awesome!"
Thank you, Chris Dodd
When the Democrats -- who I thought were the good (or at least the anti-Bush, and pro-Constitution) guys -- took back Congress in the last election, I was overjoyed. I thought we'd see an end -- finally -- to the Bush administration's recklessness and lawlessness that's made me feel ashamed to ...
Yes, please post your speech if at all possible! T minus 15 minutes and counting til you get the pleasure of presenting it =)
DEFCON 5
Well, I did it. With a lot of help from my editor and friend Andrew, I made my keynote go from Good Enough to Awesome. I am now excited to deliver it, and I think it's going to entertain whoever decides to show up. I am officially done panicking, and have returned to DefCon 5. I will likely be ...
