I love LA. I'm sure it helps that I was born here and it's my home town but I do love LA. (Okay, I hate the damn traffic and the lack of viable public transporation). I love the beach and museums. I love the farmers markets and the swap meets. I really love the patchwork quilt of ethnic neighborhoods and communities. I love that when you smile and say hi to people, they mostly smile shyly back.
