I would like to add some additional comments to Esther's post in reply to Omar. Omar refers to a Palestine resistance movement. There is only one problem with that comment. There is no such thing as Palestine. There has never been an Arab country called Palestine or a people called Palestinian. The PLO terrorist group has admitted as much on more then one occasion. So it is not possible to accurately state that Shalit was captured by Palestinian soldiers since they do not exist, He was kidnapped by a bunch of thugs period.
So please tell us then if Allah is granting victory for a just cause then what cause is that? I would doubt very much that cause has anything to do with trying to be good Americans, so perhaps you can tell us simple minded pagans just what cause does the bumper sticker refer too??
This is why there is no peace in the Middle East. Why should the Arabs make peace when they have Israel to protect them? Most likely those people who were rescued will return as suicide bombers.

So the muslims in Egypt want to abolish the Camp David Accord. Personally I think that is good news since that accord caused Israel to lose the Sinai Peninsula an important strategic and economic asset. If the accord is gone then Sinai should come back to Israel this time to stay. Obviously the Egyptians have forgotten how many times Israel beat them in war until America forced Israel to let them have a small victory during the Yom Kippur battle. So hurry up and take back the Sinai. If the borders are going to be permanently hostile we might as well have the benefit of the land that should have been ours to begin with.
While I doubt that the forces of Mohammed are quite ready yet to invade America sucessfully, comments like this should be a wakeup call to the apathetic and hopefully to at least some, if not all, of the politically correct nitwits who think that Islam is a religion of peace.
If Israel does not realize that the Sinai will have to be taken back then all is truly lost. It becomes more and more glaringly evident that concessions don't work. They just encourage the enemy to demand more of the same. Neither King David, King Solomon, Judah Maccabee or Bar Kochba believed in Land for Peace. For Gd's sake Israel, before it it too late, "TAKE THE HINT".
I am surprised to hear that burkhas are allowed to drive.
Perhaps Egypt needs a refresher course on whose army is better before they go and start planning on any gas chambers. Beside they don't have the technology or the smarts to even operate one if they tried. Time to retake the Sinai.
One of the founding principals of the United States of America was religious freedom, (even I know that and I am a Canadian). Bloomberg's decision not to allow a religious presence is undemocratic and unamerican. It will also create even more resentment towards the proposed mosque then exists now. Perhaps he is just showing him muslim masters what a good american dhimmi is capable of doing for the cause.
It is impossible to understand how any mother could not acknowledge the death of a child . If Aqsa Parvez's mother truly feels that her daughter did not warrant a proper funeral just because she did not wear a head scarf, then her humanity, not to mention her femininity ,has been destroyed by this Islam that seems so important to her. It also highlights the fact that we in the west have a "big problem".
The British experience should be a lesson to Israel about what happens when you offer too many concessions. The Anglo Saxons would be better off giving the land back to the Celtic people they stole it from rather then let the muslims take over. In the meantime short of a miracle taking place, I guess it is "BYE BYE BRITAIN"
In spite of all the evidence to the contrary Jewish Americans continue to support the Anti Jewish Democrats by a wide margin. In Canada we have a similar problem. There is something about the word Liberal that keeps Jews in a trance, so that an otherwise intelligent group of people continues to support a political philosophy that is against everything it stands for. The incompetent Obama could very well get reelected unless some of his Jewish supporters wake up and realize they are sleepwalking to a disaster. Your country's credit rating has been downgraded. Your country is over a trillion dollars in debt but still spends money like drunken sailors. Yes it is wonderful that America elected a Black man for President. But now it is time to look very hard at his performance both internationally and domestically and decide if he should really be allowed to continue after his term ends. You wouldn't run your businesses with the same carelessness that that this schmuck is running your country. We need you to put a stop to this since if you guys go down you will drag a large part of the world's economy down with you. Speaking as one of your nearest neighbors I am asking you to please take the blinders off and look at this fellow Obama real closely.
This is simply a repeat of what happened in Iran. The fact that there may be a minority of fighters who want democracy does not change the fact that the majority will bring about an Islamic state. Moammar Ghadaffi was no angel as we all know, But I think he will look real good to the U.S. once the muslim brotherhood/Al Qaeda group takes over Libya.
And if Israel is foolish enough to apologize for defending it's borders as some stupid Israeli politicians are suggesting then they might just as well apologize for the Warsaw Ghetto uprising against the Nazis. Better still why not send money to some of the Nazi descendents since I understand they have started sending tax money to the so-called Palestine authority based on the promise that none of it will be used for terrorism. Yah Right!!! Israel please start acting like a normal country. I strongly believe that your weakness is encouraging much of the aggression currently taking place from our enemies. Peace at any price is no peace at all.
I have one answer for Turkey. FREE CONSTANTINOPLE. (ISTANBUL'S ORIGINAL NAME BEFORE THE TURKS STOLE IT).
Since the issue appears to be rights of the Palestinians perhaps this is a good time to point out some historical facts. 1. There has never been an Palestinian nation ever. 2. There are no such people as Palestinians.
It is not possible to negotiate with people who practice these atrocities. They must be defeated decisively, and their society changed over time through education and the rule of law. Israel must stop making concessions and giving them reason to believe that such grotesque acts would make any difference.
Stephen Harper gave a speech that was head and shoulders above anything I have heard in a very long time. The rest of the so-called free world could learn something from him.

Coptic Religious leaders were never required by the Egyptian government to attack Israel. This is something they chose to do willingly. Historically Christian control in the Middle East meant lots of hardship for Jews, so it would appear that in spite of their troubles, a little bit of good old fashioned Christian anti-semitic behavior is still acceptable. This does not mean I condone what is being done to them. I am just pointing out what has happened to our people in the past when they were in control. As for Iranian Jews, that fact that they might stay silent is not the same as willingly going out of their way to attack the Jewish state as the Coptic religious leaders have done. So I am not sure I understand your comparison. s So I really don't think brain surgery has alot to do with it.
Thank God Netanyahu finally said what needed to be said. The fact that the Liberal nitwits in America and Canada don't like it is a good sign. We have to be realistic and understand that the Arabs don't want peace. They want victory. It seems that no matter how many wars they lose they are still convinced that they can win. I believe this has alot to do with all the concessions that Israel keeps offering. It just prolongs the conflict since it makes the Arabs feel that victory is just around the corner. And now with Obama in office they have even less reason to want to stop fighting. The best solution for the middle east problem that I have read came from a Professor named Daniel Pipes who stated it in simple words. The solution to the middle east problem is total victory. Until we have that we can expect this conflict to go on long after the muslim lover Obama has left the scene.

Whether or not you are in favour of Israel it is your logic that is flawed. You are also obviously very ignorant of the history of the region. First of all. There has never been an Arab nation called Palestine. There is no Palestine language culture or history prior to 1967. The majority of so-called refugees are the children and grandchildren of Arabs who immigrated to the area when the Jews started to rebuild the nation. They have no more legitimate claim to Israel then I have to Tehran. Since I assume you are an American you might want to get a copy of Mark Twains book called Innocents Abroad. In it he describes his trip to the middle east is the 1860s. He also describes the empty and desolate condition of the area called Palestine, ( I guess he somehow missed the thriving Palestinian society we keep hearing about), If of course you are interested in the facts. Since you also refer to the Bible you might want to remember God's statement that I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel. So no matter how you look at there is only one rightful owner of the land of Israel. Both God and history support the Jewish claim.
A protest against Auschwitz borders is a great idea. However I would respectfully suggest that it needs to go further. The reason we have to justify our existence is because of the success of the Palestine myth. The muslims have nothing else going for them but they do have Palestine. The country and people that did not exist until Yassir Arafat invented them. We need to be saying to the world in big bold letters and with loud speakers if necessary THERE IS NO PALESTINE. I am frustrated that there is not enough written or said that challenges this bogus claim to our land. I have great respect for Pamela Geller and what she is doing, but I would prefer if she spent less time worrying about muslim girls who want to become Christians and more time using her great influence to help smash this myth into oblivion.
I guess recognizing the Armenian genocide is the right thing to do. But does it change anything? Also do the Armenians really appreciate Jewish support or is it simply a temporary lifeline until things get better for them? I notice in the case of the Copts that while they are happy to receive our support their religious leaders do not hesitate to slam Israel and the Jewish people when the opportunity arises. Will the Armenians be any different? I have no use for Turks or muslims in general. But at least we know where they stand.
I don't think you understood the point of my post. This woman will not be a messenger for Israeli humanity, she will be a messenger for Israeli foolishness. I am a Jew and also hope for peace one day. But I don't believe that will ever come by encouraging your enemy to believe that you are a weakling. You live in a very dangerous part of the world next to people who not that long ago were cheerleaders for Hitler and the Nazis (and many still are). "Helping your enemy grow stronger does not work".

Had we adopted your way of thinking in World War 2 the Nazis would be in charge now. The only reason this evil was defeated was because the allies bombed the enemy. If they had taken the time to try and distinguish between active and nonactive combatants victory would have been impossible. You say you are a conservative yet your thinking seems very much on the leftist slant. Israel's position is a good example of why your ideas are not realistic. Buy being too concerned with avoiding so-called civilian casualties it has caused the deaths of many innocent soldiers and helped prolong the conflict by encouraging the enemy to believe that they can still win.
