Interests: I've lived in Hampton all my life, and have been a TV and movie freak for as long as I can remember. My TV obsessions: “Sisters” (1991-1996), “Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” (1993-1997), “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (1997-2003), “Joan of Arcadia” (2003-2005), and many others: “Angel,” “Firefly” and Dollhouse” (Joss Whedon shows), “How I Met Your Mother,” “Mad Men,” “Weeds,” “True Blood,” etc. I've seen every Nightmare on Elm Street movie multiple times and like a cheesy teen dance movie as much as a quiet indie film. Interests/Obsessions: Mad Men, Glee, How I Met Your Mother, House, Community, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Saturday Night Live, The Big Bang Theory, True Blood, Weeds, America's Next Top Model, So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, Horror movies, Independent Cinema, pop culture

I found out recently that a good friend of mine won't miss an episode of "Teen Mom." Me = perplexed. I don't know the demographics of the "Teen Mom" audience, but I doubt a highly intelligent 27-year-old with a penchant for political history and JFK memorabilila is the "Teen Mom"... Continue reading

Why are ALL my shows on hiatus? "Gossip Girl" and "How I Met Your Mother" are both old episodes tonight. Last week, I didn't get any new "Grey's Anatomy," "Vampire Diaries," "The Office" or "Community." Since I've been lacking new TV, I've been using my streaming Netflix to watch "Buffy... Nearly immediately after the reality television competition to find new solo singing talent debuted nine years ago, “American Idol” became as popular as the largest search engine the Internet had to offer, Google, and even the inevitable “marriage” between AOL and Time Warner. Zap2It today posted a roundup of its "Best and Worst of Reality 2010." I'm a TV junkie, but I don't watch a ton of reality TV. I was suprised to see that there was no mention of Anne's win on "America's Next Top Model." Having such an awkward, ungainly and... Continue reading
