I dont understand how you can interpret that into KG giving all the credit to rondo? the way i read it is "rondo needs to play well and when he feels like playing well we can win, so its on rondo to play well"

You can single someone out..you point out how Rondo has a hand in every play when they win..well he also has a hand in every play when they lose. When one player controls the ball for 80% of the game when they play bad it is 100% on him..just like a QB in football.

Rondo happened...pathetic effort by him. Set no temp..crawled up and down the court at the Raptors pace. He should have been given the night off since he clearly didn't want to play.

got to remember one thing..the Celtics have had the deck stacked against them repeatedly this season..now I don't know what other teams schedules look like but I know that at least 5 times when the Celtics have had back to backs they have been on the road for the second of the two games while the team they are playing, much like Chicago, had the previous night off and was at home watching the Celtics play a tough close game. with that said..this team is a lot better than we all think they are. They have lost 3 projected rotation players for the season...picked up MP to fill part of that void and now HE is out..Ray missed games, Paul missed the first 3, Rondo has missed 10 and KG missed a couple and YET somehow they still lead the division. When the playoffs start and they can fully scout and prepare for a team with days off between or at the very least no travel time THIS team will surprise everyone.

Was it the right thing to sit Rondo after the team's record with Avery starting? ray needs to start and finish games.

If you're handing out gold stars you should give one to Pierce. Player or the week. Upped his game. finding ways to score..just great play from the captain

One thing i noticed is they list KG at 6-11..and Big Al at 6-10...well something is off there..KG is clearly 3-4 inches taller than Big Al

I would also like MP to get back before the playoffs..maybe we week before..the c's got the heat and the bucks to finish off the season..a couple of good warm up games for him to get back in the flow before the playoffs.. as far as getting to the line..Rondo is shooting 59%...i dont think i want to see him get to the line more..i would like to see Kevin get to the line more..that would be ideal.

Agree...people are getting too excited about going young and watching dunks and highlights..The Wiz and Bobcats went young...hows that working out for them? Going young and making a highlight reel doesnt win titles..or even games..not in the NBA. If you want to watch flashy plays go watch the Globetrotters or And1

sounds to me like she is trying to grab headlines again..like she did when she repeatedly called Pierce's injury an Achilles problem..I'm not that concerned.

anyone else notice that doc had avery on john wall and not rondo? dont think Doc doesn't notice Rondo's lack luster effort... but perhaps Rondo is just on cruise control trying to get through the reg season doing just enough to win but not risk any injury again? maybe? i know im reaching but im trying to make a case for myself and others not to be sick of this guys effort

I really do hope they sign this guy past this season...for no other reason than we all know he wants to play tomorrow..he is a celtic no doubt

when you're right you're right..and you..you're right.. when a guy who controls the ball as much as Rondo does doesn't bring it..it effects the entire teams energy...clearly this game didnt have enough "juice" on it for him to care..he let Isaiah get to the basket at will early and that opened the flood gates..hopefully tomorrow night he is in a better mood seeing that Denver was off tonight (thanks NBA schedule makers) and played last night but at home and has 2 pg's that can score

this scenario is perfect for Rondo to have a big game..and usually that means he mails it in..lets hope he doesn't. Also lets hope the Celtics dont make any foolish trade in the mean time..trading away Paul Pierce is the equivalent of giving up on 2012

Great game by rondo..I've been more than critical of him but tonight he really showed up Chris Paul but didn't try to do too much..played smart within the offense and made the right pass every time.

Couldnt agree more..Blake is a punk..has no outside shot and acts like dunks are worth more than 2 points

yeah..cant wait for that..love the clogging of the lane defense..the forcing KG out away from the hoop..the lack of space for Ray..all caused by Kobe sagging off rondo

as the driver of the sasha bandwagon here in Boston i would like to say again.the kid can play..and he DOES NOT give up easy lay up..no way no how..#sashafever

I think Rondo doesn't want to get hit at all costs..he hears footsteps around the basket..he a) doesn't want to get hurt and b) fears getting sent to the line..knows its a struggle..opponents will hit him and hit him hard knowing sending him to the line is a good play 99% of the time

Give Rajon Rondo the credit he deserves..Quadruple double! He had double digit missed lay ups for sure... Thank God the Celtics still have the Captain and the Truth Paul Pierce.

ohhhh i was reading it on my phone and couldnt tell...my bad! still dont want josh smith..it would seem like a move to placate rondo..can't cater to players..that's a mistake.
