EverWack, NeverSleep, NeverBreed... We had tons of nick names for it, one of the reasons why I avoid the current incarnations like the plague. Yes negligee... Not one of my brightest picks for a BF... I can't give good tips on where to hook up other than the nearest ren fest, Where men are men and sheep are scared! For the record I found my current guy by accident while shopping for a new car!

That really sucks, it's never good when people send you in to fight or flight mode. Totally sending long distance good vibes. I have an acquaintance that sells autographs at conventions and the one time I asked about what he does he told me how so and so always signs stuff or someone else is super rare because they rarely sign stuff. None of this stuff makes much sense to me because what is the point of having a random person's signature with out the amazing experience of getting to chat with said person. I also don't genuinely understand why people sometimes just go unhinged around someone "famous", I blame this partially on growing up around congressmen and television studios. My favorite "why the hell are you acting that way?" moment happened when I was working in Whole Foods in Baltimore. Scott Speedman walked in to hit the salad bar and my crazy coworker started having convulsions, foaming at the mouth, and squealing "I'm going to have his babies!" O.O I spent most of that time laughing at her and telling her she would "so be fired from the Hollywood store", where you are to treat everyone like valued customers, famous or no. Seems like a good rule of thumb anywhere , no? Not being the Hollywood store after a week of his post shoot visits her and a few others mobbed him a few isles over from my department. I could hear their eerie tittering, as I prepped muffins, floating over the displays. He took it with epic grace, I don't think I would have. Anywho, crazy people aside, glad SDCC was kick ass. The twitter updates from everyone made it look like a great time! I can hardly wait to see some of the you tube videos from w00tstock.

Hehe! Being a girl has nothing to do with it! I learned the wonders of guiness and my long time fave Woodchuck hard cider, working at a ren fest in the midwest at 19!

I really had it hit me hard, amongst other things, how IN the digital age we are. On thrusday morning I was sitting in the ER, after getting T-Boned by another driver who ran her red light, and I thought to myself,"Gee I wish someone could log on to facebook and leave a note for my friends and family that I am in the hospital but I'm going to be ok" I had left my cell in my totaled car and had no way of aces sing my friends for even a ride home, it was a pretty odd feeling...

Stuff changes, life changes, I've always found it easier to write in my old, old blog on LJ when I'm sad, hurt, or just really need to bitch... Being busy, working hard, playing hard, prospering seems to make it harder to just sit down and dedicate a half hour to an hour of writing, it's easier to just tweet, or update a status. Your blog and prior webcasts are great fall backs when something momentous happens that it can't fit in 140 characters and a picture just can't capture the overwhelming emotion. You are pretty lucky to have such an awesome fan base that I'm sure that they will peek in for updates when you post them.

The Staff from Katsucon are organizing on the east coast benefits for the red cross' Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Project. On top of this they are in the process of developing a "Flash Convention" Meaning, a quick, one day, all day event. Pretty literally, it's a one day convention that we're planning to put together in the space of approximately a month. Our crew is amazing at raising money for charity, at this year's con-- between Maid Cafe and our Silent art auction-- we raised over 7K for charity! Anyone interested in helping out in the DC area shoot an email to christine @ katsucon . org

Awesome timing! My roomie is a chef and she decided on a whim to make corn beef and cabbage and throw a drunken Rock Band St. Patty's Day party at the house! It was a great night and thankfully the song that is the bane of my existence didn't pop up, "Tangled up in Blue", as a singer this song blows to play on rock band...

With some of the expansions and box sets there are blank cards you can write on those to create your own. Another way is to alter the card just *slightly* (see avatar pic) to make it more fitting for the group that is playing. I had the card "giant squid" while playing at an anime convention so it became "giant squid porn" and the tentacles just begged to be added. It defiantly makes the game more personalized and possibly more lewd. For even more fun you can also build your own custom expansions. At Katsucon they had added a "Con" expansion with many references that went over other staffers' and my heads.

Lunch Money is the best! I used to Demo it all the time when I worked as the lone token female at WoTC. The only game that comes close is Apples to Apples played with a sharpie!
