I have to give How to Train your Dragon 9/10. I may be somewhat generous but you will understand once you see it. Dreamworks Animation absolutely deserves this mark. This is the best animated movie I've seen in the last three years. I find it hilarious compared to Avatar . I find the movie is so much better in terms the storyline and the character development. The script was fantastic. Note: I did not watch it in 3D because I despise 3D in almost all movies. Nevertheless I found the visuals effects to be remarkable even without the 3D. It... Last week we spent hours shopping for our new apartment. We found a beautiful princess kids comforter set for our little one, as well as a new 52 Sharp inch TV for my big baby husband. My reward was to watch a movie of my choice, and I picked the Alice in Wonderland movie. The movies seemed to be fairly good although they are some nasty reviews. With no doubt, they did a great job with the overall look. The stadium looked slicker and icier than anybody could ever imagine. I've been to the stadium... Continue reading

Simply astonishing! I just saw it in IMAX 3D at the Burbank 16. So many achievements. Pandora was so immersive, the animation unreal. I also liked how Cameron used this story as a vehicle for making some bold statements about the human condition. I watched it while I was in San Francisco hotel reservations.A couple things I would have liked to have seen : more developed characters, better and maybe more memorable musical score that tied in to certain characters, and a tid maybe less one liners, but overall this is a masterpiece. Oh, one more thing. Anyone else notice... Continue reading
