I am grateful when they all look to the front and they all look happy! This is such a beautiful family. I took photographs of them when the little girl was a week old, so this was a very special photo session. Outdoor photographs definitely make kids feel more comfortable. Continue reading

A great way to play around with style and colour is to make use of props. Hats, little black boards, balloons and old chairs are just some of the things you can use. Beautiful hats would have to be my favourite. This one just works! Continue reading

I am always looking for outdoor venues where creativity can run its course. Living in Sydney offers us so many beautiful outdoor venues but the trick is still to find the venues that are closeto home. This is one of my latest discoveries. Love the neutral background and all the... Continue reading

This is the most common photographic "rule". You divide our image into thirds and then place your focal point on one of the intersections of those thirds. It would have to be my AFS t-shirt from 1987 when I was an exchange student in Texas. Can not get rid of it. I no longer wear it but I suppose it is a bit sentimental for me. (still looks great - must be good quality)
