Good question. And I'm glad you raised it. We see evidence of evolution and progress in the number of Westernized/Modernized people in the region....in Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Libya and elsewhere-and above all in Israel which is the shinning Westernized city on the Middle Eastern hill. We see it in those wanting a true liberal democracy with separation of mosque and state fighting resurgent reactionary Islamic supremacism which is plunging the region (so it seems) into a devastating sectarian war over Syria with Sunni and Shia killing each other en masse-think 30 Years War. Such a catastrophe could Westernize, or greatly moderate and reform, millions of disillusioned believers adding to the ranks of the evolved and civilized. And perhaps over time the region will catch up to Israel and Westernized Arabs will be a majority.

Nothing would delight the Obama administration more. But it mustn't happen. Leave PRISM alone people! Obama is untouchable on it. The three big scandals have Obama running scared-especially the Conservative/Tea Party IRS targeting crime which is getting dangerously close to the White House. What we must do is squeeze and squeeze and squeeze Obama on Trifecta-gate until he screams I QUIT! and resigns in disgrace like Nixon-or leaves office so damaged personally and ideologically that Americans will never elect someone like him again.
