Ross (jew) > O'Neill (Irish and his non jew lawyers) in court. O'Neill doesn't have a chance Hey tool in Toronto... enough with the racists jokes. Not funny.

By the title, I thought Ross was getting married... Read more here: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/2014/01/source-more-gm-interviews-coming-ross-engaged.html#storylink=cpy If I was he... I'd nail the foxy redhead GM to be...

I Googled Aponte. I think she's smokin hot... I love red heads... On top of that... she's can't be worse than the dolts doing the picking through the years for the fins...

My guess is that the OL line coach takes the fall... Has the NFL report on the team been delivered to Ross? That actually may impact his decision. Despite the last two games... I still see an upside to T-hill... I like his attitude... he just needs better mentoring, coaching and an O-line. Play calling that leverages his strengths would help too. Give him one more year...

It's bad karma to wish someone loses their job... but it would be good for the franchise to see a new OC... and OL coach. Given the bond between Philbin and Sherman... I sense the buffoon OL coach will be the fall guy.

"Philbin belongs in a different era. Perhaps the 70s. He's george Allen light." I hear your anti Philbin sentiments... but you lose me with this analogy. Philbin is anything but a 70s style coach. Football then was more physical, three yards and a cloud of dust. This Dolphin team is many things... but not a throwback to then. As for George Allen... he was very emotional coach who worked his players into a frenzy. I wish Philbin had Allen's passion...

I'm guessing Regis stays... What worries me is how passionless the team is under his leadership. The dilemma for Ross is that if he fires Ireland... a new GM will won't to bring in "his" coach. I'd grade Ireland a C. Same for Regis. Very average.

Now you all know why Philbin's kid killed himself in a drunken stupor. Just thinking that I've never read a more insensitive comment on this blog. That's really not called for...

Good chat here as always. Like everyone else... was shocked to see such an egg laying up in Buffalo. Weird how the upcoming game really will impact the future of the franchise. Philosophically, I don't love how football is played today... I'm more of a three yards and a cloud of dust fan. That's not Miami's style... and we saw that again Sunday. We're soft. I do think THill has an upside. Don't lose faith. I like his personality -- unflappable. Cheers,

I don't post here often guys... I'm 48... fan since 1978. I gave a lot as a fan for many years and got little in return. This was the first game I've watched all year... I choose not to $ for the Ticket... I do read this site daily... So remain apprised. A franchise low today losing to the Bills with a tomato can as their QB. Beyond the fumble and odd play call... most worrisome was that after the Bills were the Bills and gave up the long KO ret... we could pick up 15 yards. Hope it's a bad day... or is Tanny not the answer. Peace from Toronto

The season will ultimately depend on RT's development anyway... Fingers crossed...

I'm OK with the pick. Let's hope he's an impact player. Did you really get excited about drafting an LT (again)?

Who'd donate a stone for an in his prime Don Shula about now? Least we competed.

I don't think it's Cowher time yet. Something about the "coach who's done it before" worries me. See Mike Shanahan. If he's available... hire Jeff Fisher. He needs a change of pace... I think he's good. What do you guys think of him?

"The guy has been the dullest knife in the drawer since he got here. He really has a low football IQ, and he has beaten no one. The problem is ITS TOO LATE TO REALIZE THAT. Not a few of us have been screaming all year to sit his arse down--he DOESN'T GET IT!" ^^^^ I agree. Great post. He's slow afoot. Slow to makes decisions. And shows little heart or passion. Would you wanna be in a foxhole with him? Nor do his teammates. Big error for Big Tuna... oh, well... least he has a HOF rep. to live off (plus the owner's $$$). This is seriously bad now. Wonder if they'll fire the GM-coach? I see us getting one more year of this regime... before Ross declares it a lost cause. 1-7 at home sucks. I sense the Fins ain't the hottest ticket in town. Wouldn't want my bonus based on ticket sales.

"It just dawned on me: Chad Henne is JP Losman in disguise." Cept JP was a better scrambler.

Losses now to Bills, Browns and Leos at home. How would YOU like to be the VP MKT for this time and devise next year's ticket sales tactics. "OK... Let's promote the fact that we... had an undefeated season in 1972... and the game has passed us by since..."

I'm thinking of the Cat Steven's tune... "Miles from Nowhere" = this mess.

We already had the Cower equivalent (best available SB winning coach) in JJ. In hindsight... those years were OK. Xcept for some draft gaffs... he was OK.

"Team is playing hard today. Certainly doesn't look like Sparano has lost the team." We'll see. What we do know is they lost to Buff last week... are getting all they can handle today from Detroit... I think I can count on some quit before it's done.

Hmmm... Is that the current Lions or 66 Packers. We're playing? That's cool. We played the 1990s Bills last week. A long and sick joke. Watched the Parcells bio on the NFL network yesterday. Looks like MIA is the only place he didn't succeed.

"Franchise Ronnie and trade him to a team that is willing to give up a 2nd round pick to sign him," I doubt RB is worth anything more than a 4th-5th round pick. Have you watched him run this season?

Bad situation. Penne is efficient but not taking the team anywhere. More painful is Henne. He's S L O W... in terms of reading defenses and pocket movement. Perhaps would have been better to pick Matt Ice. He looks good for ATL. Here's the point... football is a team game, sure. But one member of the team, the QB, is more critical than others. Have a good QB and you'll win. Have a stiff, and, well... see where we're at.

"We match up well everywhere else" vs. Pitt I think Pitt's LBs vs. our OL = duck Chad... I think our DL + LBs vs. their running game = trouble. I think Dick LeBeau vs. Henning = issues for aqua/orange. I hope I'm wrong... but Pitt is more physical and has more and better playmakers. Remember what happened last time? Bet Henne and Pat White still do. Both were KO'd that day.
